lol, just read the mikasounds.com text properly and love their expression "bang on the dot at 9am"! so, that means, as opposed to "we say 9am but in fact mean something around 10am" like for the last presale?

really would love to go to this one, great memories of the 2007 gig at this venue... but i guess i just have to stop at some point. going to belfast, dublin and london, plus all the dates already listed in my signature, that should be enough for a while! but i'll only book my london journey in november, so you'll never know... last time it was also a last minute decision to go to newcastle!

ok i decided i'll go. WTF. flights and hostels are so cheap that i just can't resist! and why not visit ireland for a few days, never been there. though there are probably better times for a holiday there than february. :rolls_eyes: any tips on what i should see in & around belfast? why is the rsvp list so short? it's the only saturday, and the first gig of the tour!

yup, was a bit more than 30 euro for ticket, 41 euro including all fees+shipping. which would be about 38 GBP.

also would love to know. damn, flight munich-belfast, dublin-munich only 60 euro altogether? this is mad!! must-not-stalk-mika-this-much!

is it the same as carling academy last time, just different name? on google maps it looks like it's in the same area (from what i can remember from 2007...).

would love to do belfast (as it's the first date of the brand new tour, and i've never been to ireland...), newcastle (it's the same venue as 2007 again, isn't it? just different name?) and london (). and if i'm doing belfast, i'm doing dublin as well (and spend a few days in ireland), if i'm doing newcastle and london, i'm also doing birmingham, it's on the way. ... now all i need is the lottery jackpot. *goes checking for flight+hotel prices to see what's realistic*

good that you mention the dressing up, i was wondering that too. i'm currently considering options from just some face glitter to a costume similar to the dancers in the biotg vid. well, if i can do it, not sure bout that yet. but IF i manage to create such a costume, i don't wanna be the only one there looking completely ridiculous. so would love to know how much everyone else is dressing up.

but at least it's something to talk about. of course ppl shouldn't start booking flights and hotels yet. but for making some theoretical plans, one unsure date is better than nothing at all.

so if that about belfast is true, we at least know more than we did before: - the tour will be in february - the tickets will be for sale on friday AND - it's very likely that we get the tourdates before friday, if that's when you can buy the tickets! though if the general presale starts on friday, what about a mikasounds presale? they should hurry up!

well, at least it will have a new theme, with the 50s thing he tweeted... and he did play pick up off the floor at a tv gig already, so i think he should at least do that one. hopefully more though. :rolls_eyes:

haha, very funny and interesting! t4p! loved the bit about speaking other languages, he picks up what ppl in front rows tell him without knowing what it means?! hmmm... but was a bit disappointed to hear that the US tour counts to the "old shows", damn, i really hope he plays some more songs than at the last european shows! the vegetarian thing is also interesting. wonder about the reason... health? religion? love for animals? i was the same, said i was vegetarian but still sometimes ate meat... meanwhile i don't say anymore that i'm vegetarian, just that i don't like to eat a lot of meat, that's closer to the truth. and there was one sentence/thought that he didn't finish, cause the interviewer asked another question in between... don't remember what it was though, have to listen again. :rolls_eyes:

nope, unfortunately not. they want the address of the credit card holder, billing address. you can even print the ticket at home, that wouldn't be the problem. but it also says in their terms+conditions that only residents of US and Canada are allowed to buy tickets there. but thanx for the offer.

btw, yop, where did you get your tickets? probably on mikasounds, but just in case, i wanna ask. how likely is it that this will sell out within the next 10 days, any idea, anyone? cause i'll arrive in LA on the 16th, maybe i can just go and buy a ticket there... where could i get one in LA? at the venue itself maybe?

but on MS you have to pay a lot of fees, altogether on MS it's about 42 euro for 1 ticket, and that's probably also what you'll get in the end on the eventim website. it's a legitimate website, you probably won't find a site where you get the tickets cheaper than that - only if you buy them at a box office directly in berlin, but not on the web.

nah, mika doesn't hate you! just his web team does, they're the ones approving the vids. well there aren't ANY new videos on the site, are there? they probably ARE sorting it, but y'know, mika time... top of the week and all that... about the 7", don't think you'll get magic numbers for that, it says on the website: To earn Magic Numbers, please look out for the MIKA MAGIC NUMBERS Rosette on relevant product pages. and the 7" doesn't have that rosette.

nope, you can print the ticket yourself, but address has to be the one of the credit card holder, so if i try another address it prob. won't accept my credit card payment. well, i'll arrive in LA a week before the gig, guess i just have to hope it's not sold out by then and go and buy a ticket at some box office (is there one at the venue, does anyone know? ).
