I smoke a lot when I'm writing my music too, helps me relax. No big deal or surprise to me, reading this interview and it's his own choice and body. I'm sure he's no chain smoker so y'all can relax

Just wanna say that I really admire musicians who actively play different instruments, like Curtis. Would've impressed me more if he was a woman though. I always like to see female artists who actually play their own instruments and write their own songs. Anyway, hope Tim sticks around, he's the only person in the band who's impressed me with his politeness and respect towards the fans (and talents of course, but they all are very gifted musicians).

Well some of us have some experience I've got some from my band days, we used to help out the crew to set most of the stuff up, but it wasn't as fun as being on stage

Maybe he should hire his fans to do all of this stagework for him for free, I'm sure we wouldn't mind Not counting the ones of us with bad backs hehe

He has acted impolite towards fans a few times, but I expected that from him (eventhough he's nice most of the time). I don't appreciate that about him but he's a very special person And I'm sure he doesn't mean to be rude, although I don't excuse that kind of behavior in anyone, no matter how moody they get from touring and recieving the same gifts over and over again.

I've usuallly given him gifts just to make him smile or laugh, sometimes hand made, other times just something I found in the shops which I'd think would amuse him. That's the reason I buy/make gifts for my friends too, just to see them smile. Hope you get your moment with him and get to give him your gift! Just have fun with it, I'm sure he'll appreciate whatever you decide to give him (although sometimes he can be a bit of a diva and not want to accept certain things )

Yes I've been hoping for that as well. Apparently Kanye loved Mika's new album and even listened to some of them in the studio with Pharrell, but he never even mentions him in the press (neither does Pharrell). I find that kind of odd, but I guess a collab wouldn't really get Mika attention (like Celebrate) but one with one of his lady friends Gaga or Adele could help boost his fame a little I'd think. Not that it's going to happen

Well it's not really taken seriously here either. And the only reason I watch it is because I like to get wasted and cheer for my country to win But if the UK aren't taking Mika serious now either way, what would it hurt for him to participate? I wouldn't mind it if he got some attention in all of Europe, who cares what some people think anyway? People are always going to be negative about artists, and like I said before I think any publicity is good publicity. There is no way he's going to do it though so you can relax

After what he did to Popular Song with a former Nickelodeon star I don't see why he shouldn't participate in Eurovision. Any promo would be good promo for Mika nowadays imo. And I don't think all of the songs are seen as a joke in Eurovision, I was quite proud of Sweden's contribution last year, Euphoria, it was a great song.

Can you imagine if he had directed a video for a song like Toy Boy? Would've been incredible. But yeah, Tim doesn't direct many music vids unfortunately. And this song is not really that alternative and indie enought to catch his interest I would think.
