What a fab evening, we're still on a high. It was the best atmosphere of any of the MIKA gigs we've been to, there were entertainers galore keeping us amused in the queue outside, loads of people in fancy dress, a brilliant warm up act in Partick Wolf and MIKA absolutely bursting with energy. He put everything he had into last nights show without holding back and he got the response he deserved from the audience. It really looked like he was having the time of his life up there. Big thank you to all the wonderful MFC'ers we met up with for helping make the day even more special, you know who you are. Thought you might like to see some pics...... Diet Coke and a Pizza please? Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section, but... Did anyone else see 'Dance X' on BBC1 last night? As background for 2 parts of the show they used the music from both 'Happy Ending' and 'Any Other World' I thought I was hearing things!! Mika love is spreading everywhere...

Ha ha - yeah I miss the escalators at New Street too (and the ramp ) Perhaps you should wear your ladybird outfit for that part of the journey (I'm sure those Brummies would move out of the way for you then tee hee )

OMG - I used to live near Stourbridge and I remember that trek between Snow Hill and New Street - not good with a suitcase - you'll be cream crackered by the time you get there eh?! Good luck

Awww thank you guys My very talented, wonderful hubby Kev made it for me - by scanning some images from my ever growing MIKA collection of cd's / 7" records & promos and then doing some magic in photoshop.

Awwww, thank you for noticing it. My clever hubby Kev scanned in artwork from my ever growing collection of 7 inches, CD's and Promos and then put it all together in photoshop

You're still hangin in there babes... ...and so you bloody well deserve to be after carrying that flag up and down them steps for 7 hours Obviously it looks blurry in the screencap but that's youtube for ya, you're in there and more importantly you WERE there, memories to last a lifetime eh

The more I watch this the worse it gets, there are continuity errors throughout. MIKA is walking down the steps followed by the big girls and the crowd, he pauses and the crowd carry on past him / cut to the next shot and he is back leading the group again (one girl in a brightly coloured top actually passes him twice) Then once the circle forms for what is left of the dance off (for which most of the fans who looked fantastic in the original cut have now been removed) it cuts between the circle and back to the walking bit at least 5 times....made me dizzy!! It all looks very amateurish, so glad I downloaded the other version from itunes, get it now before they change it (it's much better quality than the one on youtube)

Finally caught the whole thing on 'the box' and it's been cut to ribbons Those of you who have watched it lots will really notice the difference. They've cut out loads of cool stuff and replaced it with disjointed clips which just don't gel and the ending looks pants too. Whoever decided to go with this version got it sooooooo wrong ( MIKA if you're reading this) My hubby and I are still in it but there are going to be a lot of disappointed MFC'ers when they see the final cut

...strange, just caught the last 30 seconds of this on 'the hits' channel and it is different to the one we downloaded from itunes a last week. Not massively different but different all the same. ***leaves video on record and sits flicking betweem 'the box' and 'the hits'***
