Poor pup! Good thing he's okay... Speaking of dogs, we've had the in laws' dog at home and he's a lot smaller than Chloe (Derek's dog). So small in fact that he's been able to see under the fence and see the sheep on the other side and start barking at them!- 1,562 replies

Wedding's on the 9th of November. Well, if they decide the hospital was negligent then they pay me money. And they're negligent cause they should have sent me for a brain scan when I first showed up at the hospital after having a massive headache for 5 days rather than tell me it was a migraine (I've never had one). Of course, I'm not doing this for the money, I'm doing this so they accept that they stuffed up before I was admitted to hospital. According to the doctor I talked to in 2009, he though there was nothing wrong with the way I was treated and I'm sure that if they'd done a CT scan then they would'e seen a blood clot and I wouldn't have gone through everything I did. I can't speak for any other businesses but I got a free tasting cause I was at the bridal fair and they were giving them out. Chloe's don't end up like that. Her's end up in tiny pieces (even the hard plastic ones don't last long). Hopefully she'll be happier (and behave herself!) over the weekend cause we're picking up Derek's parents' dog and looking after him while they go to Queensland. And I've discovered that it's a lot harder to type on the work laptop than what it is on the desktop cause the keyboard is smaller...- 1,562 replies

It sounds pretty complicated to me as well, but apparently it needed to go to a barrister as well... maybe because of the level of court it has to go to? I'm starting to get a few RSVPs back for the wedding, and most people have commented on how nice the invites are. Of course they'd bloody well wanna be nice, I spent enough on them (about $5.63 per invite )! And I'm so pleased, I managed to get the menu decided on and we're getting a free tasting in a couple of weeks so hopefully we don't decide the menu isn't nice...- 1,562 replies

I have a solicitor and a barrister. I wouldn't be going without them as they know how this sort of stuff works (esp. the barrister, he originally was a doctor and then because a barrister)...- 1,562 replies

I can't believe the thread died for a few weeks! I got some interesting news a few weeks ago... I was told that next year I'll e having an EEG and as long as I haven't had any seizures between now and then, I might be able to come off tegretol! Oh, and I have to travel to Sydney again sometime in September/October for a mediation with the hospital's solicitors etc . It'd be nice if that was the last thing I had to go in for, but I'll probably have to have a few more meetings and such before they decide whether the hospital was negligent or not.- 1,562 replies

Yeah, figured I'd be nice and look after the Kiwis Thanks guys! I'd like a new one, cause it's slightly incorrect. But silver already knows that

Shiny!
Thinking I might join the Kiwi and Aussie threads when the Aussie thread is full... not that it matters that much, but

Awww, how cute! The poem is very lovely as well.

nico_collard replied to B!anka's topic in Other Artists
Dang it... B!anka hasn't been here in a while and she was the one that started the thread... You're still an MFC Trekker though! -
Hmmmm, are there many people even from NZ here? I don't remember seeing too many. I don't mind keeping an eye out for NZ people if needs be, not sure if NZ peeps would be too pleased about Aussies taking over their stuff (as per usual )

And why not? Seriously though, I think that's a good idea.

Yeah I know, I'm just trying to pretend like I'm not that much of a fangurl Yeah she did, but in the one ep I remember she had to go back in time and stop someone from installing a device on Voyager that blew up (she'd gone back 4 or 5 times and couldn't go back anymore). That's why Janeway was signed up to get the culprit when the device was first placed. Awww, poor face... Yep, that's it! Cause it's entirely possible to link most stuff to Star Trek. I've been known to turn threads off topic more than once... I really should stop doing it. I bags Scotty first! I haven't been to a gig in 4 years!

That's pretty good. Have absolutely no clue if he's being played here, but my guess is no. I'm sure Jolene was originally from Brisbane but she lives in WA now... I think someone else came from Brisbane though, I'm sure of it! I'll believe it when I see it. Next year would be much better for me, I might even have some money to go! And if it is true, I could have two gigs to go to: Hanson and Mika- 1,562 replies

Bahahahahaha! Funny! Mika isn't going to assimilate me into his weird collective of fans... Hang on a second Yeah but seriously, breach of the Temporal Prime Directive. Not only that, she couldn't go back in time anymore... She'd get too sick. LOL, your husband has good taste! I really watch too much Star Trek...

You can't say that Marilyn! Star Trek IS real! Totally agree. It's always been my home away from home The people here have always been so caring towards me How did you not know that? I've known about that for years... I think when I was a mod maybe, so 5 years ago? This is the last thing I think I need to say one the subject... In the words of Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted Logan...
