    It was quite good... I really enjoyed the stripped back version of Popular. Really gave it a different feel and made it seem somewhat serious... It made me jump too...

    Probably... considering I don't even like coke I'm surprised I even considered it... Ooooooh, interesting! It does look pretty gruesome... (your pic wouldn't show so I put this one in instead)... Looks nice! How about a pink squirrel? It's got creme de noyaux, white creme de cacao and heavy cream ()

    good point... *hangs up cocktail sign* That's better! Mmmmmmmm... Blue Curacao... I remember before my school grad I had some of that mixed with orange juice... Was a bit worried about spilling it on my white dress though... Okies, what about this one? It's called theLittle Black Dress. It's got Melted White Chocolate (for rimming glass), Small Pearl Dragees or White Nonpareils, Ice, Dark Chocolate Liqueur and cola... I found this, thought it was kinda cool:

    Awwwww, that's sweet! Makes sense to me... I can understand not wanting too much pink (I'm using pink but I'm not even a big fan of the colour!)... And paper can be pretty expensive! I've slightly changed my invites now... the tree has changed but I'm using a design that my friend had made randomly and I like. I had to point out to her that she can now use the tree for someone else that wants it. It was a pretty tree though. Again, when I have something to show, I'll post it At the moment I don't have a lot to do for the wedding, cause most of it is organised. I'm going to see if I can get some of my great aunts and uncles invited but it all depends on who is coming out of Derek's family or not. I'll have to ask my sister if she asked a family member if she could do my makeup (she actually does it professionally) and see if my sister's boss person has us booked in for hair. Hmmmm.... I should go eat something before I have to hand out the laptops to the kids at school

    Sounds good... It's starting to get a bit cold over here. In the middle of the day it's fine, but the mornings and nights have cooled right down.

    Interesting choice of colours... I like the middle right one personally, but it's not my wedding I'm getting my friend to do the invites for me. She's a graphic designer and does wedding invites and stuff. I don't have any to show but once I do I'll post a pic. I was quite annoyed with what my mum said about them though. There's going to be a tree on the front but my mum said "But Shannon had a tree on her invites"... As if I care what she thinks. To explain, Shannon's one of my cousins (and is the same age as me) and she got married at the end of last year. Basically since I got engaged she's been really weird around me and refuses to talk to me even though I've done nothing to her (she gave Derek a really dirty look for no reason, and he's certainly done nothing to her). I think she thinks I'm copying her, cause her father said to me "Why are you getting engaged now" when I told them about it.Then again, she's hardly talked to our other cousin as well and she's been in England for 2 years. Sorry for the rambling *looks around for creative people* Hope you're not suggesting I'm creative...

    Awwww, that church is so pretty! Since I last posted (in February I mean) I've done the following: # decided on the style of my dress and 2 of my bridesmaids # ordered and paid for the cake # ordered and paid for the flowers # ordered, paid for and received the wedding favours # ordered, paid for and received some numbers for the tables # completely decided on the table decorations (and ordered some pieces of mirror for it) # Worked out when H2B and I will do this pre wedding course # got some wooden branches with battery operated fairy lights. We're using them for the seating chart. We're planning to look a bit like: My dress is kinda sorta like: I'm getting some capped sleeves made using the same kind of appliques as what's on the dress. So yeah, I'm a little organised. Only thing worrying me at the moment is that my priest is sick at the moment He was found unconscious by his niece a few weeks ago and he's been in hospital since. I'm thinking he won't be well enough by November, which means I'll either have to ask one of the priests here to do it or go with mum's suggestion which was to get the priest that married her and dad.

    Awwww, that dress is so pretty! I don't have time to post a pic or two of what sort of dress I ended up getting, but when I'm not so busy with computers I'll be sure to share!

    I thought something similar... I thought "Bet the people on MFC are pleased with that"... It's a bit of a whiny title for a song... that probably would've fit well for Mika... He's also listed as cowriter on a stack of Bon Jovi songs ... Oh, he has written a few songs for Bonnie Tyler as well, makes sense.

    Maybe he wants to try and find the actors from CSI? Really? *looks at google maps* Oh, that's a bit over 8 hours. When I think about how far that would be in Oz, it doesn't sound that bad. Awwww... Poor Perth! I think Perth needs some love... ... Meh, too hard!
