  1. And about Jasmine working on his illustrations Thank you Eriko
  2. Hi @Eli19 to MFC Enjoy your time here with us and if you need help around the forum feel free to ask here
  3. So as @Kumazzzasked me here is the translation of what Mika says in this video The butterfly lounge is a place that used to exist for real. It's not just the title of a song. It was a night club that had been opened by a woman who was fed up with going out in Los Angeles' night clubs C'était un club ouvert par une femme where everyone made fun of her because she wasn't thin enough. This club was totally rotten with a concrete floor and it stank of donuts and of subway sandwiches because the food shops were right by it and in this club which stank of sweat everything was possible and everyone could dance without thinking about the consequences and without feeling ashamed. So tonight Alors ce soir Geneva, a beautiful town. We are in a town that is considered as the most chic of the world and you know tonight we don't give a f***. Because tonight you are going to turn Geneva arena into the Butterfly Lounge. Are you ready people on the seats? Are you ready the enfants terribles in the pit? Breathe like this. One two three... one two three Big girl you are beautiful https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5Et6aBNPS2/?igsh=MXB6Y2FlM2FjN2VyNA==
  4. If it has to be about food and in English bring back Ice Cream 🍦
  5. They are so good live though iBut he always changes the setlist according to the country so more songs in English make more sense for the rest of the tour I guess and maybe he will sing songs in English we haven't heard in a while or French songs translated in English? He has so many albums and songs to chose from now Maybe fans can ask at the gigs with written messages for songs they wish to hear (either English or French ones) and see it that works
  6. Hello everyone I hope you all go on with the discussion that originated on the before hotel accord arena (bercy) thread but which is so it would be more useful to try to talk about the ways people with ideas on how to make this forum easier to use for newcomers and for newcomers to ask their questions here so something positive can come out of this discussiom Thank you.
  7. I think as @krysady stated that this is not the proper thread for a discussion about how to help newbies understand better how MFC works and how it could evolve or what all fans who have been members for a long time could do to be more helpful. We are all here as volonteers and because we love Mika. I have welcomed and helped many newbies and anyone who regularly checks on their subscribed threads (if only by mail) can easily keep in touch with what's new. The point of a forum is that we can centralize information at the same place and organize it well (Each thread with one purpose and one theme) Newcomers can check the threads where the organisation of the forum is explained to them (and in many different languages) With the other social media information is fast then fastly forgotten or lost when new things pop up. Say you want to know what charities Mika sang for you will find a thread about it (that's an example) but finding all the full info about a particular subject is something that's only possible in a forum. I also want to stress that everything MFC members do is on their free time and that being on every social media at the same time is a lot of work because now there is facebook, instagram, twitter, tik tok and maybe new ones soon who knows...mods are already doing a lot of work on socials...maybe video tutorials adressing what newbies need to know would come in handy Anyway a golden rule on a forum is that one discussion like this one should have its own thread because right now all we do is cluttering the before Bercy thread so I will open one for this particular subject and link it here soon. Please let's go on with this discussion here: Thank you everyone
  8. Some fans have custom made t shirts and hoodies online when the real ones are not available any more or when the size is not right
  9. Hi and to MFC Yes Mika is for real but I think you mean he feels like a dream before you actually attend your first gig because this how I felt too. Because his voice, his looks, his whole universe, his personality is so amazing that he seems too good to be true like a dream. And yet when your dream comes true at your first gig, when you finally see and hear him live and your dream comes true and you feel home like never before you know Mika exists for real At least it was that way fot me when I was at Beauregard festival and absolutely blissful to the point that I dreamt about Mika all night long after the concert I still have that feeling too sometimes like when I was watching him on my pc ast Eurovision and I was thinking omg he agreed to let me hug him and he hugged me back and it was a Mika dream that came true too I hope lots of your Mika dreams come true too
  10. Such a beautiful review That journalist is also a poet and I love how he describes the concert comparing it to Jacques Prèvert beautiful poem Jacques Prévert was an enfant terrible himsellf
  11. If you click on the three dots then on browse you will see all the threads if you scroll. But usually the most interesting threads are the ones that are trending imho.
  12. Yes I watched it too It reminded me when periscope was a thing and I almost got to see all the summer concerts thanks to fans who shared lots of songs live
  13. I love this thread so much Thanks a million to all of you wonderful people who are sharing so many heavenly beautiful pics and photos
  14. I'm always using my phone with mini browsers. I used to use a pc in the times. On pc you can see the siggies and the siggie photos or videos and the display is more detailed. It makes me feel very nostalgic if I use MFC on pc but it takes longer than with my phone and my mini browsers nowadays. But I have no specific app just a browser like I can use youtube or twitter or instagram with a browser instead of the app on .my phone. I don't know if that makes sense but I never downloaded any MFC app
  15. There is no specific app but if you use opera or firefox on a smart phone MFC is very user friendly. (you can also chose the desktop version on phone with those browser but scrolling is easier if you don't).You get three dots on the top right side of the screen and when you click you get a menu where you can chose all activity to see the trending threads or the ones you posted in that you follow or the ones you started yourself. If you click on forums you will see everything in the menu then chose from there then click again depending on what you are looking for You also have a specific thread to ask any Mika related question in which fans will help you.
  16. I'm sorry the security agents mislead you I promise you I will do my very best to buy a tourbook for you In Rennes I was able to access the merch before the show as I had a seat and I will have a seat in Brest too. I will mail it to you through the post office and you can pay me back with paypal or make a check or we can find another way don't worry I just sent you a private messsage
  17. Hi and to MFC Enjoy your first Mika gig It is such a special one If you have any questions feel free to ask we have a thread for everything Mika related here You can ask here or dm me if you want See you around
  18. Words of wisdom All I will add is that if newcomers need help all they have to do is ask for it and they can always get help in their native language is needed. So anyone in need of help please introduce yourself in the intro thread and ask for it. Also if you stick around you will learn very fast. And as a member who's been around for a very long time since the forum was brown and Mika's voice would welcome you when you got into the chat MFC is a breeze to use now. It works on phone fine and it is extremely easy to keep up with threads. Back in 2007 it took me months if not years to find again my intro thread and thank lovely fans who had welcomed me back then but being online was not a piece of cake at that time...but still I managed to know MFC very well with time. And nowadays the forum is so well organized it certainly doesn't take a long time to find your way in it. Now joining MFC is something everyone can do for free so if you're in try to get into projects and write into threads to get to know it better. But my last words will be if you don't have anything nice to say best not say anything. I'm here to share and help and translate when I have enough time so language barrier is not a problem. So reading comments that look like trolling is not what I come here for at all That being said I'll be out of this thread since I said it was best not to say anything not nice bye bye sweetie banana
  19. Could that journalist be the same or the brother of the one who thought the piano wing was a foot and saw Peter Pan and Alice in wonderland during Apocalypse Calypso show? I love Lonely Alcoholic but I doubt Mika would sing it on stage... although he is now singing songs like Any other world, Talk about you and Billy Brown so maybe he will go on changing the setlist a bit
  20. I'm so sorry to hear this I think you should try to upload both concerts to vimeo they are better than youtube and also maybe get in touch with Antoine at mikawebsite who could maybe host it abroad for you. Maybe Eriko could upload them on VK for you. Live music is legal normally but youtube can be a pain. Try to save your videos on a hard drive and a google drive online just in case youtube removes them. Big hugs to you
  21. Hello I will go to Brest on April 16th so I will try to buy one for you if there are still sone left but if someone can do it before it would be better in case they are sold out then....
