  1. haha, teachers can be so nice sometimes... We have to write out pages of school rules from our diaries during uniform detentions. Last time I wrote out page with the sexual harassment policy. I was like, shouldn't we be copying out the uniform policy? That would make more sense...lol
  2. Absolutely! there's nothing wrong with being knowledgeable. =] Must go feed my ponies now, but will be back later. (That was a quick visit! =\)
  3. haha, so would I! I'd leave it on all day, even if they give me multiple uniform detentions...lol
  4. lol' date=' I imagine concerts too! Where we have to stand during assembly is soo far away from the front, we can barely see or hear anything (plus I'm short-sighted), so I usually just shut off and let my imagination run wild![img']http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee214/Miss_LF/smiley/daydreaming.gif[/img]
  5. Hey Luna, welcome to MFC! I was just reading your profile (reading profiles is an obsession of mine...) I know who Sister Hazel is. =] They had a song entitled 'All For You' which I had an obsession with when I was about 6 or 7. =] I also laughed at your rejection of your uniform. =P where I live, uniforms are compulsory for all schools! Anyway, hope you enjoy it here.
  6. I tried to do the math, but I must've done something wrong, cos it came out as having over 2000 smarties in the shoe! So I gave up and just guessed, cos I was tired...
  7. I love the way he says 'Life in Cartoon Motion' in this vid. http://www.universalmusic.net.au/Mar07/MikaEPK.html
  8. OMG this is awesome! =D Now how am I supposed to concentrate on my Shakespeare play?? lol
  9. What program do you currently use? I personally recommend AVG free. It's free, thorough, and has an easy to use interface. I haven't had a problem since I installed it. =] I am currently attempting to read 'The Taming of the Shrew', but failing dismally. Too many distractions!! lol
  10. Nope, but it started to look like it would for a while... The mud is knee deep in parts of my paddock... I've had enough! That's terrible! I really feel for everyone who are having to go through this... =( I just saw that then! It was sad. I'm not usually an emotional person at all, but that made me tear up. Ohh! congrats on the Uke! Ouch! how'd you sprain your ankle?
  11. Aww, I'm sorry it's so hot for you guys! It's been pouring here for about 4 weeks. You can have the rain. I'm most certainly done with it! *orders rain to move south*
  12. That is hilarious! You have every right to be freaked out! lol
  13. Yeah, I'd probably be scared if it were cat. 3 or something (this one's only cat. 1) and its only 990 hp (above 100hp is just a tropical low), so even if it does hit, it's not really that big... =] d'you know that I've used this username forever, and this is the first time I've been mistaken for a guy because of it? lol But there's no way ya's could have know, so I forgive ya. =] lol, that's hilarious! I just set mine. =D I'm gonna see if I can convince some of 'me hearties' to switch their language too.
  14. I was born in Wollongong. (and so was the vast majority of my family..lol) Yeah, the inner city most certainly isn't the biggest attraction... I really like the Buddhist temple too! I went to stay with my aunt and uncle down there in December, and when we went to work, (they own a joinery in Unanderra), I'd walk down to the temple for a walk around. It's really pretty. =] Thankies! *drinks thirstily* Awwh!! No fair! We're getting some nice thunderstorms from Ellie (the cyclone) today. Downside is that there's a high risk that we'll get hit by it in the morning... =\ Hope the power doesn't go out just yet... I haven't yet fully satisfied my internet addiction...
  15. Cyclone-y. =] So I was just listening to the radio, when they announced that areas between Innisfail and Ayr had just been issued a cyclone warning. Cyclone Ellie is category 1 (lowest) and is likely to reach the coast near Cardwell early tomorrow morning. Nonetheless, since the path of Ellie is still uncertain, we here in Townsville have just been out shopping for our 'cyclone packs'. Which brings back memories of cyclone Larry in 2006. Dad's idea of a cyclone pack was spam, long-life milk and coco-pops. lol. From the Bureau of Meteorology this morning- Details of Tropical Cyclone Ellie at 9:00 am EST .Centre located near...... 16.9 degrees South 147.2 degrees East .Location accuracy........ within 55 kilometres .Recent movement.......... towards the southwest at 4 kilometres per hour .Wind gusts near centre... 100 kilometres per hour .Severity category........ 1 .Central pressure......... 990 hectoPascals As you can see form this image, it's pretty close to us. Either way, we're gonna get strong winds, so I'd better go and pack up all my stuff outside!
  16. Good luck! What grade are you going into? I started two days ago. Yr 12, although I won't let any of my teachers call me a senior, cos I'm in denial in regards to the whole 'last year of school' thing. I like school far too much for my own good.
  17. Yep. School is far more interesting than home, and I live no-where near any of my friends. The also give us far to much time off for holidays... =\ 'Tis 10:33. 27 minutes until I can go. =D
  18. That's good. =] Yeah... I'm way too nerdy... I got up at 8am and put my uniform on. I don't start until 12. So now I'm sitting here until 11, and then we can leave.
