  1. Awh, that's no good! Hope you find some inspiration soon! I'm getting my stuff ready for school! Yay for first day back! =D But it's my last first day back ever! I don't wanna leave school! I like school far too much for my own good...lol
  2. I feel stupid, but what does *pbs* mean? (I bet it'll be something really obvious... ) I'm very happy today, cos SCHOOL IS BACK!! (I'm far too nerdy for my own good... ) Although since I'm yr 12 now, this will be my last first-day-back-at-school EVER!
  3. I have four *I think* live albums (not the DVDs, fan recorded ones) and some random live stuff from videos that I can mail you. =]
  4. Have you tried refreshing the page? Sometimes when pages are changed, the cache (stuff that your computer saves from the webpage to help it load faster in the future) doesn't update, and you're stuck with the old one. Refreshing it should do the trick. That said, I also have a screenshot if you still can't see it. =] http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i245/bonzaboy/FireShotcapture-SevenWords-Wikip-1.png
  5. I'm not quite sure what you mean here. Technically you can put any song onto an iPod, as long as they're mp3 or acc format. If they're wma files, iTunes will automatically convert them to acc format when you add them to it. If they're not any of those formats, there are lots of free programs you can find online to convert them. I recommend Altomp3 Gold for this. Or did you mean you wanted a list of every song Mika has ever played/recorded? There is a discography and a list of covers under FAQ in the menu bar under the banner. Hope this helps. =]
  6. It just goes to show what a creative bunch we are! If a certain someone is unwilling to entertain us, we'll go to all measures to entertain ourselves!
  7. Cool! I do hope it is May (or sooner). September does seem like an awfully long time to wait!
  8. I quite like the colours too! I dunno... there's just something about children books that draws me in... I don't think I'll ever outgrow them...
  9. lol, we need to put an auto-clicker on Mika's video. That'll teach Sam Sparro. Never mess with nerds like myself.
  10. I do, to some extent... I too am an athiest, (how ironic that I go to a catholic school...), but I do believe that there is something out there. Although I have no idea what it may be... I've had no personal experiences with ghosts, but both my mother and father have. When I was very little (around a year old), we owned an old corner store, which had a house attached. Aparently they used to hear footsteps inside (the floors wee wooden), and when they went to investigate, there was no one there. Also while we were there, my dad had an old piano he used to play, and one day, he was playing, and the piano started rocking. not just moving with the music, full on rocking back and forwards. As soon as he stopped playing, the rocking stopped. Apparently he went green with shock... The house we're in now isn't anywhere near as old as the house I was born in, but when we first moved here, my mum woke up one night to find a young girl with really long dark hair staring at her from the foot of her bed. At first she though it was me, cos at that stage, I had way long hair, but then she realised that the girl's hair was out, and I never slept with my hair out, and this girl was alot shorter that I was. Mum blinked a few times, and the girl faded away... haha, all this ghost stuff is creeping me out now... I'm almost afraid to turn around! *turns around* Okay, nothing there...
  11. Not really a song, but the Hamish and Andy podcast. They're going on about some guy who blew 0.018 into a breathalyser after having only consumed a Bubble-O-Bill (an ice-cream) So now Hamish is going to force-feed Andy Bubble-O-Bills all day, to see if, by the end of the day, he will blow a reading rendering him legally incapable of driving.
  12. I just saw this on TV. He made a wonderful speech. I do believe that this is a sign of more good things to come.
  13. Charlotte, that is priceless! (Except for the end. That's just mean... ) I once dreamed that Mika was doing a gig in my dressage arena! I was in my room (which has a window that faces out into my arena), and my sister came in and was like, E.J! Mika's outside! I looked outside, and saw a heap of people, so I jumped out my window and ran down to the front. The stage was behind the fence, in my concrete stall, and Mika and the band were all there. I was like I don't remember any of the actual gig, but after, he came up into my house, and I made him Vegemite toast, and we had a chat. (Dunno if he'd actually like Vegemite, since it's sorta like Marmite...) And that's all I can recall...
  14. Nah, I think I might have posted a different one, though... I like my flood pics...lol Yeah, they don't mind it, but they're not silly about it. They generally stay in one spot until the water goes down... You're very welcome. =] I do quite like the gumboot too. I've always wanted to visit it, but we don't usually travel that far up the coast.
  15. You could ask someone to stand behind you and film...
  16. Tully is around 200km south of Cairns. =] Another really good place to visit in Australia is Bonza's paddock. If you're extremely lucky, you might even see Bonza! It's even better in the wet, cos it doubles as a swimming pool! (lol, sorry. I couldn't help myself )
  17. I'm sure I can think of a few random ones from Aussie! This one is the Golden Gumboot, in Tully. The boot stands 7.9 metres high which represents the record annual rainfall of 7,900mm (311 inches) in 1950. Since Mika likes wellies so much, maybe this will be an incentive to come to Aus! The Great Barrier Reef. Largest coral reef system in the world, composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands, stretching for 2,600 kilometres over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometres Uluru/Ayres Rock (yes, it's simply a large rock.) The world-renowned sandstone formation stands 348 m high, with most of its bulk below the ground, and measures 9.4 km in circumference. Sydney Harbour Bridge The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district and the North Shore. Sydney Opera House The Sydney Opera House was conceived and largely built by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, who in 2003 received the Pritzker Prize, architecture's highest honour.
  18. Destination Calabria, by Alex Gaudino, courtesy of my little sister in the next room. She plays the same 17 or so dance tracks over and over all day on max volume. It kills me. And heaven forbid if I try to put some of my music on... She tried to tell me yesterday that my music was boring because it all stays in the same key. I was like , before explaining to her that music is generally supposed to stay in the same key, with the exception of modulations to the dominant or the relative minor key...
  19. I found that vid much more entertaining that I probably should have...
  20. Yep, except for Hips don't Lie, Everybody's Talkin and Same Jeans, they're demos, and they were leaked online last year. Mika has requested that we don't share or discuss them on the forum, as he may wish to release them at a later date. Hips don't Lie is Shakira's song, and I believe he performed it during an interview... Everybody's Talkin is a Harry Nilsson song that he's performed live several times Same Jeans is by The View, and it was performed for an interview last year.
  21. My left eye is lazy (and I'm ridiculously short sighted), but not so much that it's always visibly obvious. It kinda means that it doesn't focus as well as my good eye, and when I try to focus on one thing, I only use my good eye. It's not really visible unless I'm really tired, and even then, it's only slight. I think he only said in the interview that it was slightly lazy (I'd check, but I don't have time, need to go to work, correct me if I'm wrong), so maybe that's why it's not usually visible.
