My Interpretation and Any Other World
bonzaboy replied to John Alan's topic in Mika's Music and Artwork
Can you read tabs? Cos there are many good ones for both of those out there. I can't read music either, so I learned partly by ear, and partly with tabs. =] -
I agree with you on Twilight... Twilight is seriously starting to kill me now. My little sister is obsessed. She has four different t-shirts, and the other morning, she goes to me "E.J, did you know that when I'm in the shade, my eyes change colour, and my hair gets lighter?" I was like, "YOU ARE NOT A VAMPIRE!!" She's taken obsessive to a whole new level. She can have an entire conversation using only quotes from the books, and has convinced several of her teachers to refer to her as 'Edward'. =| She scare me...lol

Weird... I got mine off at the same time... But congrats on the closeness of the end of your orthodontic journey!

I can relate to all of the above! lol I have the wire behind my bottom teeth, (I think he called it a permanent retainer. I didn't believe him at first when he said it was gonna stay there) but not on the top... And I hate the plastic retainer too.. Did you get headgear to wear at night? I did. it was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever experienced. =| But like you said, there is a positive to all of this. After all, no pain, no gain!

I had braces. I got them when I was 12, (in 2004) and got them off in 2006. Now that I think of it, that was quite a while ago! I had a retainer when I got my braces off, and I had to wear it three weeks straight. It made me lisp a little... The rubber bands were painful! I had them in two different thicknesses. The thinner ones were okay, but the thicker ones I couldn't wear during the daytime cos they were so painful. I wore them during the night, and I'd have to cut them to get them off in the morning, cos I couldn't open my mouth from the pain! =|

Hi! =] I'm normally a soprano, but they stuck me in the middle part to bring up the numbers...haha I had a twitter account a long time ago, but never felt inclined to use it until now... and I forgot the details, so I had to make a new one! Argh! *swats bugs* There are little tiny bugs all in my room, and I have no idea where they're coming from!

Yay for part 20! How are we all? I've just returned from musical rehearsal. We're singing in three different parts. I'm in the middle part, but I keep feeling inclined to join in with the high part. I'd ask if I could join the other part, but there's not enough of us in the middle part as it is...lol

I would have slapped my biology teacher if he said something like that. Actually, I feel like slapping my biology teacher most of the time. It seems we learn more about his wedding plans and fiancé than actual coursework... Aww, that's so cute! haha, sounds like you got the message through! Some people are so ignorant...- 1,456 replies

haha, I didn't say it was a nice grandstand or dressage arena... Yeah, my dad is kinda cheap too... the dressage arena is comprised of old traffic cones with letters spray painted on and the grandstand is this old rickety thing he was given... And we're not allowed to sit on the fences for fear of them collapsing...lol With my dad, if it's not compost related, (we have a slight obsession ) he's not interested. lol

Argh!! I just got an email. And I don't think I'm gonna be able to go! (I live in Townsville) Not fair! I love Ben Lee (first artist I'd ever had an obsession about...) But... I have no assessment due monday, tuesday or wednesday, so it is possible. I just need to figure out how to convince parents... =\ *edit* Mum said maybe...

**Warning! This poster has ridiculously wacked out dreams that never seem to make the slightest sense.** Yep. It's a side effect of the medication I take. But I put up with it, cos it's pretty entertaining to remember some of these dreams...lol This one is vaguely Mika related... So the other night, I dreamed that Mika was performing live, and it was going to be broadcasted on TV. So I decided to tape it on VHS. But then, my sister got angry with me, and deleted the VHS off my computer? Still not sure how that works... =\ And so the next morning, I get up and catch the bus to school, and I'm demanding that someone or other give me back my video tape, cos Id never seen a Mika concert. So this kid gives me this bag of video tapes, which apparently was the entire concert on VHS. So then I put the VHS tapes into my computer (all at once) and ended up watching the concert. The end. lol

hehe, I hate swimming carnivals too! I'd much rather go to athletics than go swimming... (for some reason, I just don't like getting wet at the moment. Yes, this has raised questions in relation to my personal hygiene, but contrary to popular belief, I do put up with showering...lol) The high point of my day today was listening to my (musically illiterate) English teacher talking about 'Pentactic' scales in class today, in relation to rhythm and syllables in poetry. I was like, I think you mean 'pentatonic', and that has to do with melody, not rhythm...haha

Awesome! We're all getting those at school, except apparently we're a povo school, so they're putting Ubuntu (free Linux based operating system) on them, instead of paying licensing for windows...lol The tiny keyboard is okay for me, cos I two-finger type (like a maniac, though, might I add...)
