  1. I had the feeling it might've been something like that... But yes, it did make me look twice! Funny stuff! =]
  2. Usually it's piled up with a combination of school stuff and crap, but at the moment, it's tidy. It has *checks* - alarm clock/ipod dock thingy - biology textbooks (all three) - assorted pens, including the industrial sized pack of highlighters my 9yo sister gave me for xmas - my A4 sized picture of the 'pi' symbol (cos I'm a nerd) that fell off my wall My zone show jumping trophy from last year, on which the little plastic rider has no head (courtesy of younger siblings...lol) - half a packet of butter menthols But not my computer. He's on my bed. With me.
  3. I made friends with my 'husband' from musical today... Long story short, I joined school production and ended up with the part of a wife. Hence I was partnered up with an immature kid for a husband (cos I'm short, haha), and we didn't get on too well due to my lack of tolerance for his machine gun obsession... But I've started afresh, and have decided to try and be friends with this kid, since I'm gonna have to spend the majority of my on-stage time with him. =]
  4. I'm pretty sure I had 20-20 vision... I now know staring at a computer screen reading for extended periods ruins your eyes... oops... (But I do like my glasses. =])
  5. Nope, that sounds pretty good, you have the basic format correct. =] To go a little more in-depth with the structure thing (I'm an English nerd...lol) Introduction: - Introduce the audience to the topic you're about to speak about - Include background information if necessary - Touch on your three (or however many body paragraphs you have) main points you're going to cover - Link to your first body paragraph at the end of the introduction Body paragraphs: - Include a topic sentence (Outline what the paragraph will be about) and a clincher sentence (A sentence at the end of the paragraph that sums up the content of said paragraph) - Work with one main point or topic per paragraph - Try to link the end of the previous paragraph with the beginning of the next Conclusion: - Sum up your body paragraphs (highlight the significant points) - Finish your speech with a memorable quote/phrase Hope that helps. Good luck with your speech! =]
  6. Been listening to this one a bit... I think I hear in the second verse: Could you believe The same old families *something* That you've *something* all before Her name was April But she was [hateful?] He wanted to make her want to Walk right out the door
  7. Hehe, that was the first thing I did. =] Here's the mp3 of Christine's vid- http://www.zshare.net/audio/58760593c32c54c2/

  13. hehe, that's great! I love Avenue Q. =] Changing your country more than likely won't work, because it determines where you are from your IP address, which is tracked back to your service provider, which determines your country. Maybe upload it on metacafe.com or somewhere else for the others... =]
  14. I thought iTunes converted to ACC format... =\ If iTunes doesn't work, I'd use Altomp3 Gold. I use it, and the only downside is that because it's unregistered, you can only convert three songs at a time. But other than that, it's brilliant. =] Here's the DL link http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/Audio-CD-DVD-Burning/AltoMP3-Gold.shtml I have to feed my horses now, but if you want, I can have a look for a keygen online, so you can use it with full functionality when I get back. =]
  15. Heya Kitty! I remember talking to you ages ago! Welcome back! =]
  16. Getting back my marks for my vocal task in Music made me very happy today! =] I played Billy Brown, and got a B+ for it! Which is an improvement from the C+ I got last year with Grace Kelly (I was still 'a little bit shy' (pun intended) at that stage) Yay! =D
  17. There's this girl in my grade who is terrified of feet. Like, literally has a phobia. I don't like Biology. We get to do fun pracs and stuff, and then they counteract all the fun with obscenely long and boring reports...
