Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was 15 in that picture. When I first saw the pic, I didn't think it was him. I can see it...but he's changed so much, and the straight hair threw me off.

AAAH, you did WHAT?! Now THAT is terrifying. I remember Ronald McDonald invited one of my classmates to the stage with him, and he scared her so bad she wet her pants in front of the entire school. And then they invited him back again the next year! Why, oh why?

Since Ronald McDonald came to my school when I was about 6 or 7. That would give me seriously disturbing nightmares. I love Mika, and I hate clowns...that messes with my mind.

Okay, wow. SOOO many people here hate clowns, and clowns freak me out as well. Should we start a support group??

I just hope Mika wouldn't get "darker" or "edgier" just to please the critics. But if this is his own natural evolution as an artist (and I think it is), then bring it on.

Yeah, you bring up really interesting points. And I feel like this is a mystery for us to solve. A preview of what's to come? Mika said it would be darker, and now I'm so curious as to what the new songs will be about! What new characters will we meet, and how will these new creations affect the stage shows? I feel like Mika has a reason for everything...and he thinks so much about the image and the art that I'm sure there's a lot of symbolism we don't think about. Besides what you said, I had a few other ideas and things I was thinking about... -At the end of the video, the screen disappers, and we're left with a picture of the Lollipop Girl sitting on a couch kind of hidden in shadow. Could this mean his old characters are still going to be a part of his world, but they're now lounging around in the background and letting the new characters take center stage? I also see the classic multi-colored circles are still there. Symbols from the first album, but less noticable than the new images. -Are there raindrops or teardrops falling from the sky? -It seems some of the clowns are missing parts. The one carrying the purple shoe isn't wearing shoes. I also can't help thinking of the phrase "big shoes to fill" but I feel like it may mean something else. -The clown at the top has no eyes. Does it mean something, or are they just covered by his hair? -There's a lot of opposites going on (for lack of a better word). The skull--traditionally a sad or foreboding symbol is smiling, while the clowns--generally thought of as happy, even though I think they're rather macabre--are struggling, upset, etc. -I also thought of the Adam and Eve apple/snake bit. I wonder what Mika means by using those symbols in relation to the new album? -The "KA" at the bottom left of the picture. Is that the last two letters in his name, or in this instance do "KA" mean something different? And if it does stand for the "KA" in Mika, where is the "MI"? Also, on the bottom left, there's another "A". Interesting... -Last thing (for now). Just gotta mention the character with the blond hair on the bottom center. This person just looks different than the others. Less of the stereotypical clown, and kind of like...ringmaster? No, that's not it. And reaching out toward the...red balloon? It doesn't look like another apple. That character just intrigues me. Maybe I'm reading too far into this. I was an English major in college and was taught to look for symbolism in everything. Still, it's fun, and I have a feeling there's more behind it than we might think. Mika's too clever to make everything random.

Oh, I know!!! She's incredible...I'm so glad she works with Mika, and continues to do so. Do you think that's any hint as to what the album cover will look like?

Buuut...the HTML emails DO work for some people, because my sister received an HTML email confirmation to her email. And it was different than mine...funnier, like Mika actually had a hand in writing it. My confirmation was more official, less...Mika-fied. Still, I'm glad I received something!

Yeah, I registered with one email address and never received a confirmation email. Then I tried again with another address (and no HTML option) and received an email confirmation immediately. Sooo...*shrugs*...seems like an imperfect confirmation system. Maybe it has a problem with certain email addresses?

Excellent! Thank you so much! Clowns and snakes. And a trapeze! Oh, this is going to be awesome... Most of the MFCers would lose their sanity. Me included! Also, has anyone tried registering for Paris tickets through the link on the main page? I registered to get HTML emails to one address and that didn't work, so I tried again with a different email but had to choose the text option without HTML. My sister got the HTML emails, and it turns out the welcome emails for HTML are different than the text ones. Has anyone else noticed this?

That was PERFECT! OMG, that was so amazingly...amazing! That seriously made me SO happy I cannot stop smiling!!! I feel like jumping up and down, running through the house, aaah, he's so wonderful!! Oh, please no clowns! I will be so scarred for life if he has clowns in his next show. Same here. I had no idea a video could make me SO happy. And the new layout! And content! And what about the new characters?! How cool! I love the darker blue, and the new characters (still not sure about the clowns though, lol) and WOW!!! THANK YOU!!!

Cleaning...ugh, I was doing that yesterday. Today I ran some errands, took my car to the repair shop, then filled up my gas tank before the prices skyrocketed (there were lines behind every pump, and a police car to make sure people didn't get rowdy) and now I'm sitting in front of the computer staring at my novel-in-progress, but getting frustrated and posting on the MFC instead. I suppose I'll go back to staring at my would-be-novel. Edit: Oooh, break a leg Fmbm! What kind of recital?

Hmmm, I'm not too optimistic at this point, but you never know. Ah, hope...it's fading. It would be nice to find out what happened, but I'm trying to convince myself that it's none of my business. That's going well.

Oh God, what a horrible period for many people! I talk to my friends and coworkers and very few people would choose to live through middle school again. 6th-9th grade was definitely the worst. I got made fun of for everything--the way I dressed, my haircut (I was growing out my bangs at the time), the music I liked, etc. People stole things from me, threw things at me on the bus, made fun of me. It was so horrible. I never stopped talking, though, and luckily I always had a few friends who stuck by me. Plus my family was great. Oddly enough, in college I went through a rough period, and I stopped writing, which is the one thing I've always, always done. It's like I was too stressed, and my brain was too focused on all the crap going on to even think about stories and my imagination. I'm just starting to get back into writing now, but it's still more difficult than it used to be. Sooo true.

Here's to hoping... Um...haven't posted in the "Luke" threads in awhile...do we have any more insights into why he was let go, and why it was handled so unprofessionally in the Mika camp? Just wondering...

Third that. :mf_lustslow: Honestly, Mika's human and he makes mistakes. Some people on the MFC are going to be annoyed when he does something less-than-perfect. I have faith that he'll learn from his mistakes, grow as a musician/performer/business man, and get better and better as the years go by! He's amazing, plain and simple. I'm an FFL...fan for life.
