  1. Haha, I just watched the video again. Oh, thanks! When in doubt, check YouTube. Ok, wow. I am apparently having a newbie moment (darnit, those happen so rarely these days) but how many secret things are on the DVD? You click on a stripe on the Live in Paris screen, and the Big Girl animation starts? Are there any other secret animations/footage?
  2. I'm trying to think if I've seen that animation. I don't think so! Where can I see it? And the video is so amazing I had to add it to my iPod movies. I [heart] Mika SO much!
  3. Oooh, I want to add a random picture! And cartoons! The poor, poor fish. I love these:
  4. Yes, it is. We have it at the bookstore where I work.
  5. Thank God I work in a bookstore. We get free copies of magazines that don't sell when the new issues come in. I'll have to grab a couple of the Q mags next month. I'm not paying money for one pic in a chicken suit! (Although he looks so cute, lol.)
  6. Nice one, Mika. (Of course if it's published in a mag like that, who knows if he REALLY finds it funny.) Me, too! Even if it were bad, I know I'd laugh. Speaking of, here's a REALLY bad one: Why did the turtle cross the road? To get to the Shell Station. (To those of you who've never seen a Shell Station, it's a type of gas/petrol station.)
  7. <--Should I take down this one of you then?
  8. Don't lie, you'll never be done... it's part of our love/hate relationship.
  9. Thank God, I was worried for a second... :wheelchair:
  10. I've never tried making my own! Maybe I should. Although me in the kitchen usually equals disaster.
  11. I don't like sugar in my tea, but I do like honey. (Unless it's the tea I had in London, then I'm a milk and sugar girl.) And sometimes I put vanilla soymilk in my black teas, like I said above. I've never had strawberry tea, but I have had peppermint and I love it! Apparently there's this amazing blueberry tea where I work, but I haven't tried it yet.
  12. Oooh, I am another fan of Dragonfruit Vitaminwater! Mmm... Haha, um...I like chips and hummus. Or cereal. Or fruit. And chocolate. Oh, thank you so much. (Sunshine and joy...24/7.) I think you may be on to something...
  13. Oh don't worry, I still won't let you drive. Too scary. You behind the wheel. OOOH! I thought the "I know" was in reference to "I know she looks 53". I was thinking "****"
  14. Oh, I'm REALLY too terrified to type real sentences. Maybe after I've been lurking longer. You know, after 8 years I still email my German exchange student every once in awhile. We just sent each other Sheepworld ecards. I LOOOVE Sheepworld stuff! I bought so many postcards when I was in Deutschland.
  15. Haha! I almost did the driving smiley earlier...just randomly. I think it should be your summer smiley since driver's ed is coming... And I'll make a note...do not buy Nivea...there is no hope anyways.

    Musicals

I LOOOVE musicals! It seems ever since I was about 5 years old, all of my favorite movies have been musicals. Alice in Wonderland (it counts, lol!), Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Moulin Rouge, Almost Famous, Across the Universe...(and did I mention Moulin Rouge??? Ewan McGregor... ) And theatre, oh I love musicals onstage! I was in drama in high school and loved it, and have seen quite a few. When I was in London I saw Mamma Mia, My Fair Lady, Les Miz, The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera...I think that's it? But I've also seen Les Miz in New York (one of the leads went to my high school ), Lion King in Toronto, Phantom of the Opera and RENT in Michigan...oh gosh, they're so amazing. If I had talent/energy to do anything, I would love to be in musicals. Every time I see one I always think "I want to do that!!" But then I try singing and dancing and the desire to be onstage takes a backseat to reality, lol.
  17. Nivea, huh? *writes that down* Aren't you SOOO glad we're both on the MFC...together! ROFL...
  18. *sneaks into thread* Yes, your sister is MUCH older. Ancient in fact. And yes, she would have been extremely ticked if made to wait outside while you went in early. Haha, thanks! And yes, yes she did. But you, on the other hand, are a joy to be around 24/7.
  19. I thought people were saying right. So if Mika lives in the UK, the US straight/gay thing may not apply. So who knows? What do you mean active or passive? Actively gay vs passively gay? Sexually active vs...not? And what does using a handkerchief mean?
  20. Hello! I think I'm going to classify myself as an in-between-er, because after being here for four months, I'm not a newbie, but I'm not an old-timer, lol.
  21. I want him to be happy too, but he's not getting married. He's not with anyone as far as we know, and certainly not with Milla! So no worries, Lucy.
  22. That's what kind of surprised me when I met him. He was SO energetic and outgoing onstage, but when I met him afterwards, he seemed a bit shy. It was quite sweet, and so different from his on-stage persona. Just have to say randomly that I love your avatar. I just bought Twilight today since I read it months ago and loved it, and realized I don't have my own copy! I can't wait for Breaking Dawn. The bookstore where I work is having a midnight release party for it. In America, a piercing in your left ear means you're straight, and right ear means you're gay.
  23. We're like twins...but not. (And BTW, I'm finally listening to Midway State. They're...really good. Really too bad they didn't play in Toronto.)
  24. Haha, thank you! Very few things in life gross me out more than barf. I do like spicy foods--and I love Tex Mex and things like that. Tacos, burritos, chips and salsa, etc. (Although after this delightful discussion, I can't even think about eating a taco at the moment!)
