1. What do you mean about the overwhelming walks?

What sorts of things are there to do in Vietnam (tourist-y things or otherwise)?

2. So I guess you'd take a car/taxi everywhere?

Traffic doesn't sound too bad, but what I am most anxious about (besides safety) is the food and taking photos. I've only had pho here in Canada, but I imagine the real kind must be amazing. As well as other foods.

3. I know this is totally random, but I see you're from Vietnam. (So, hello from Canada!) Within the next five years, or so, I am planning to do some traveling across Asia with my boyfriend. Would you say Vietnam is safe for tourists?

4. Oh wow, such a variety! Do you get to choose what you design? And about your teachers situation, like you said, it's out of your hands and you WILL graduate in the end. I hope you're doing well with your studies!

Well, I must go to bed now. I have to be up in five hours. Goodnight/morning. :teehee:

5. No problem (about the friend request!)

Oooh, your school sounds interesting. What kind of projects do you do?

6. My current obsession is sushi. If I could, I would it it all day, everyday, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sushi is not so much a current obsession, as I've always liked it, but I'vve recently come to the conclusion it's my favourite food OF ALL TIME.
7. Oh wow! I was talking to someone about architects the other day. We were saying how important of a job they have! How are you liking your studies?

8. Thanks! I finish my studies at the end of April (three days before my birthday!)

Oh, I totally know what you mean. Hang in there. :naughty: What are you studying?

9. Pretty good. I start my internship today and after that I graduate, so that means I never have any classes ever again. Yay! :naughty:

10. "Escape from Camp 14: One Man's Remarkable Odyssey from North Korea to Freedom in the West" by Blaine Harden I saw a special "60 Minutes" interview Anderson Cooper did with Shin Donghyuk, who was born and raised in a North Korean prison camp, but managed to escape. He is believed to be the only person to be born and raised in a North Korean prison camp to have escape and lived to tell his story. Please watch the heart-wrenching interview here. I was so intrigued (and shocked and fascinated) by Shin's story, I felt compelled to buy "Escape from Camp 14." It's a book about Shin's life in the Camp 14 and his life after. I blew through the book. It was a fantastic book. I recommend it to anyone. Please read it!
11. You did! The reason why I asked was because you referred to me by my first name in a thread and I forgot what name to call you. So, I left it out. :lol3:

12. OK...Bia, thanks for reminding me. :teehee:

13. I feel like a bad person, but I've seemed to have forgotten your first name. What is it? :bleh:

14. I guess I'm not the first one to hear a Mika song ("Lola") in Victoria's Secret...
15. From when I went whale watching in the summer. For some reason the resolution on this photo went WAY DOWN when I uploaded it to Photobucket. Trust me, the original one is in focus way more...
16. I've been listening to this on repeat all evening. So good!
17. I remember you! I'm so happy to hear about your marriage! When did you get married? And where? I get so curious about weddings.
18. And it would be chaos and anarchy, which is what the media is depicting Ford's situation to be like right now.
19. It's a great investment. Not only does it produce fantastic quality photos, but it's a good price, too. I'd recommend it, FOR SURE!

Hello

It's probably the pop-up when you sign in that you can't open (I don't think anyone can.) Go to your "User CP" window and in your top right corner it says "Private Messages" and from there you should be able to open your PM. Anywho... Welcome to the MFC!
