  1. Oh, and I forgot to post this, a spoof PSA that Portia de Rossi did on Jimmy Kimmel Live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMLV3jPQW44
  2. "Interplay" perhaps? I agree, I found the twins' dynamic interesting. I've been waiting to see their episode for ages. The plot, though, was a tad predictable (the thing with JJ was bound to be used as a weapon and the previous holding-hands-through-the-cat-flap was also bound to come up in conversation as a symbol) but the ending wasn't - they could have made it play out very differently and I'm glad that they didn't. Now we'll just have to wait and see how they treat the relationship in the next season. The next episode is the season finale, btw, but it looks like it'll centre around Cook/Effy/Freddie which bores me a little because it's just angsty and a tad predictable.
  3. Anyone seen the latest episode of Skins? It was awesome. Much better than I expected it to be based on the promos/previews. Not wanting to spoil too much I will just say that Katie's desire to control her twin Emily creates conflict that culminates at the College Ball. (Yay, alliteration. ) So, some new Emily/Naomi animated gifs:
  4. Hear hear. To be honest, though, there's nothing wrong with reading the occasional trash for entertainment as long as these people still understand what good literature is and still use their minds and read it. However, if Stephanie Meyer's books and similar mindless drivel are all that some people read then I'm worried, because there's really no serious thought involved.
  5. Oh oh do you know who is the artist who drew this? I've been trying to hunt down their other works for a while now.
  6. Sense enough to know that they're not a real vampire.
  7. Oh dear. One would hope she'd have more sense by that age.
  8. Hell has frozen over and I blame the Mikamites. Or is it the Twimites? Or the Lilymites?
  9. S&M

I love that photoshoot. There's also something homoerotic about it. I'm going to see if I can hunt down the designers. Thanks.

  10. LMAO! She took her seriously. I thought that she wouldn't since they're, well, direct competitors in the world of day time TV talk shows. But when I think about it it's actually a pretty good cross-promotion. Darn, that Oprah is smart.
  11. Wow. The poses, the dresses, the actresses... all lovely! Btw, is H-Monthly a fashion magazine? Does the magazine or the scans of it say who the designer(s) is? 'Cause I'm seriously coveting those dresses. Huh?
  12. Oh, and I just read the blog. "Countries so far include; Ireland, UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland and the USA. But there are more to come!". No points for guessing what countries will not appear in the list.
  13. *cue the "aww's"* I already feel queasy from dinner so thanks for sparing us the sentimentality. Oh, and I'm happy for you.
  14. Ohhh, I see. Ours haven't changed yet. "Countries so far include; Ireland, UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland and the USA. But there are more to come!". Lovely. I ended up eating that banana earlier. I am now having pizza for dinner while simultaneously removing my make up, listening to the Ting Tings and writing this post. See, who needs Twitter?
  15. Glad that I'm not the only non-Twitter fan. So, let the meaningless drivel here commence... I'm chewing peppermint gum right now and planning on having a banana soon.
  16. Teegs! Good to have you back. That's good news. Now rest up.
  17. I haven't visited this thread in aaages, it's good to see it alive. The other day I was watching an interview where Anna Matronic talked about John Waters and how he was the inspiration for the Filthy/Gorgeous video. All of their stuff is just... so effing good.
  18. Bianca's even taller than Arts? Oh dear.
