  7. :roftl:Well, if you can't draw portraits and stuff, you can be creative!!! And that's great!!!!
  8. Thanks!!:wub2:Well you know, if you don't try, you will not know!! My first drawing were pretty bad. Practice, it's the key:wink2: I have to say that drawing Mika is greaaaaat:mf_lustslow:
  9. Thanks!!:huglove:Well, I would say about 5 hours each, though I think it took me longer to do the second one:wink2:
  10. Thank you!! Remember when I said I was frustrated about the nose? Well, I was far too lazy to start the whole portrait all over again... So, I decided to start a new one!:naughty:This one's better in my opinion. You tell me:blush-anim-cl:
  11. Hi guys!! I think these two pics have not been posted yet (well, if I'm wrong, sorry!) Sorry for what the headline says, but I just found the pic great:wub2: I know this one's not new, but I just love it!!
  12. :naughty:That has to do with Mika:wub2: because he aslo collects useless stuff...
  13. Well, I've heard some interviews where he speaks in French... His French has a "normal speed" I guess:D He really has the Parisian accent lol. Films... mmh I don't know.... You could watch "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain", it had a lot of success. Or if you can put them in French, all the Disney movies, and Harry Potter (I dunno, but I find it really easy to understand in English, so maybe you'll find it easy in French?):bleh:I'm not a huge fan of French cinema so....
  14. He does say "life is a funny old thing" in English. Then he says "C'est drôle la vie, hein?" which means more or less "life is a funny old thing":wink2:
  15. Yummy, indeed:mf_lustslow: You're welcome!
  16. Well, it's an impression. English people speak quickly to me. I've learned that you always have the impression that people speak more quickly when they don't speak your language! But it's a fact, French people from France speak more quickly than French speaker here in Switzerland. And I think British people speak more quickly than American people, tell me if I'm wrong:bleh: And you're welcome!! Essaye de regarder des films en français, et tu vas t'habituer. C'est ce que je fais pour l'anglais! P.S: Try to watch movies in French, and you'll get used to it. It's what I do for English! (just in case:wink2:)
  17. Yeah!! I'm surprised, cause I thought that the suicide part was obvious! Well, apparently it's not:wink2: Ok, if you feel like analysing texts, you can still work on the ones I posted first haha!!
  18. Well, it's funny that you thought the last stanza was the 'happy ending', because when I wrote it, I thought it more like the guy will commit suicide and be free, leave his life and anger behind. But your interpretation is really interesting as well! Wow, you know, I like your interpretations!!!:wub2:Ha ha
  19. Wow, that's an interesting and optimistic (more than mine lol) interpretation!! I'm happy to see that my poem/song/whatever is not that obvious:naughty: Btw, it's not because my text talks about drugs and suicide that I'm into it... On the contrary, I'm a really happy person, I laugh all the time and I'll never take drugs, that's a bet:wink2:
  20. Oh, and for Grace Kelly, it's something like "Je prends les poses de Grace Kelly, mais pourtant ça ne suffit pas. Alors je fais un peu comme Freddy, mais que faut-il que je sois???" meaning "I pose like Grace Kelly, but yet it's not enough. So I act a bit like Freddy, but what do have to be like???" Well, it's not good in English... I don't really like it in French either!!
  21. Hi! I think I can translate!!! In French: "Faut faire gaffe avec la chemise.... Ya ma grand-mère qui est là ce soir" meaning something like "I need to be careful with the shirt.... My grand-mother is here tonight" In French: "C'est drôle la vie, hein? Ya 6 mois on était en train de jouer pour 15 personnes à Birmingham. C'est une nouvelle chanson, ça s'appelle 'Holy Johnny'" meaning "Life is a funny old thing.... Six months ago, we were playing for 15 people in Birmingham. It's a new song, it's called 'Holy Johnny'" I hope I helped!!
