But then, I have been offered a ticket for La Cigale (the Universe sent it to me because I have prayed so hard 😉) Helene is very sweet indeed and has got a lovely husband because he brings us food and beverage while we queue or wait in the crowd 👍🏻😉 So, hopefully, we will meet after. I am 1,80 m blond hair, light eyes, you will recognize me I hope 😉

Salut salut les francophones 😉 Un bon moment que je n’ai rien posté ici 😉 Pour celles et ceux qui ne me connaissent pas, je m’appelle Valérie j’ai bientôt 46 ans. Je suis une maman active en couple, avec 3 enfants de 15,13 et 11 ans. Ce qui explique un peu que je ne passe pas ma vie sur les forums. J’adore Mika depuis la sortie de Grace Kelly et je l’ai vu pour la première fois en concert au Parc des Princes en 2008 quand j’étais enceinte de mon fils. Depuis, j’ai dû le voir entre 15 et 20 fois sur scène. Et je me suis inscrite ici avant le concert du Cirque d’hiver en 2009 pour rencontrer des fans car j’y allais seule. J’ai eu la chance de faire Big Girl’sur scène avec lui à Werchter en 2010.... un festival, au moins 50000 personnes, l’un des meilleurs moments de ma vie 😍 Je ne me déplace pas voir Mika quand il ne chante pas (ex. The Voice) mais j’ai eu la chance d’assister à la reception pour sa statue de cire au Musée Grévin et c’était super. Je fais partie des fans respectueuses qui ne hurlent pas quand Mika arrive car il déteste ça. Là, il ne me reconnaitrait pas mais fut un moment il me disait « oh salut » avec son petit sourire, genre « comment vas tu depuis la dernière fois » et on avait toujours un petit échange. J’ai pas mal d’autographes. J’ai des photos de groupe avec lui. Il me manque une seule chose : c’est une photo perso avec lui mais ça a toujours r été difficile. C’est un homme en or : il met plein de soleil dans ma vie ☀️☀️☀️, il est le ☀️ de ma vie... et me donne le moral et la pêche depuis 2007. Voilà, j’ai la chance d’aller le voir à La Cigale le 08/10/19 et je voulais savoir si d’autres fans y allaient ? Je vais aussi à Londres, Lille, Paris et au Luxembourg 😉 J’ai trop hâte : je ne l’ai pas vu depuis son dernier Bercy. N’hésitez pas à me mp si vous allez à l’un de ces concerts, j’aime les rencontres pré et post concerts 😉 Bonne journée à vous 👌🏻

Hello Anne, Yes, good idea indeed but maybe it would be a little bit « light » to throw away ? Why not big stars on light paper (classical printing paper or drawing paper) that we would be lighting with our phones or a light ? Just like below, from Anna who had another idea for another song in another gig 😉 They did it on « Staring at the sun » in 2015 or 2016 and, apparently, Mika has loved it 😉 Look : thanks to @Anna Ko Kolkowska for the link 👍🏻😉 Now we don’t know if we will be a lot of MFCers in that crowd but I can try to print some from my job and give it to the people in the queue 😉 Do you know capacity of La Cigale ? Being busy with my full time job and 3 children, I have a lot to do at home and can’t stay a lot on MFC And the only gig I went in England was Brighton in 2010, I have tried to interact with MFCers but the welcoming was quite cold 🥶 and, as I was with another french girl (non fan, a colleague of mine), I have stayed with her instead 🤷🏼‍♀️ I knew the people from the pictures I had seen here but they would not talk on that day 🤔🤭😁 So I am not normally shy : do not hesitate to come to meet me and have a little chat, my english is not wonderful but the most important is to try 😁 Sorry for multiple colors in that message : I am editing the message from my phone and can’t change it 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 _____________________________________________________ I was missing Mika’s gigs but not that queues - you meet good people there and interact with fans but I have been vaccinated since Compiegne in 2010 and a very bad experience where hundred of people entered before us and, with my friend Macboll, we have said ‘we stop that silly queuing in the morning’ The last Bercy gig (2016 or 15 ? Can.t remember 🤔) we arrived there at 12h or 12h30, there are at least 17000 places and we got front row because the stage was huge 🤷🏼‍♀️ So, for a 2000 people venue like London, there is no need to be there that early. 😄. I am nearly 46 years old and, personnaly, I don’t mind if Mika does not see me or recognize me front row. He can’t see properly anyway, it is dark there or he has got lights in his face 😁 I prefer to be in the middle of the crowd and shout from time to time (and make him laugh), I am tall so this is helpful 👍🏻 But I understand people want to be front row 😉 I had the chance to talk with Mika several times, there is only one thing missing in my Mika’collection : a picture, just him and me 😉 so I hope I will get that chance one day 😁 Anyway, I keep on trying 😉

Hi MFCers, I have just decided 2 days ago to go to that gig in London and I have aleeady booked my hotel. So I am supposed to arrive on the sunday noon because I hadn’t noticed that topic... I can change my trip and book an extra night on saturday but I should need to know the exact date of the party first, please 😉 I almost came to a MFC anniversary party in London a few years ago but hubby got so angry that I had changed my mind 🙄 and decided not to come 🤷🏼‍♀️ This time I wish I could come and meet you, all 😉 I don’t write a lot but I know many of you 😉

Thanks for your answer Mellody I will find an hotel, probably not far from the venue. And I plan to go back home on the tuesday, anyway, to enjoy London, a bit. Anyway, I wish I could meet as many as MFCers possible I now have to read the whole topic to see what is planned for that gig but, I am in for everything, anyway. I saw Sabine is coming too, and what about Graciosa ? Isn't she travelling to see Mika any more ? So happy to get some MikaÏne, I have been waiting too long Concerning Brexit, they don't even know themselves properly about it, so it is going to be a big surprise. I have a lot of English colleagues living in France and working onboard the ferry between Calais and Dover and it is going to be hard for them. They must have a resident card here in France but can get it only if they live here for 5 years miimum, otherwise they have to move back to England. Would anyone of MFC get a discount on Calais-Dover-Calais ferry ticket (like 20 % minimum or 25 sometimes) to go to England by car, just send me a PM and I will send you a special link with all détails

Which one most of you are going to if I may ask ? ---------------------------- To Mellody ad all other people interested : you have written Brexit will have happened in November, it is possible but don't worry, you are german, just bring your Ausweis and that's it - Being working for a ferry company and dealing with passports, we just fear people are being blocked on the roads by french customs (especially truck drivers carrying goods) but by plane, there is no problem for regular tourist passengers. It will become more difficult to travel to England for non european countries, needing a visa again. Or even some eastern european countries entered into recently 🤔 but nothing is written , nowhere yet) But, up to nw, we have zéro information about Brexit and we are the first concerned

Thanks Mellody for your point of view which I totally agree with 👌🏻 Well, I try to make up my mind but I need some Mikaïne for sure 😉 The thing is that a trip to England is free for me, I pay just for the gig and the hotel or b&b 😉 so temptation is huge 🤭🤣 It is cheaper than going to France 🤣 by plane and I normally choose gigs up to a circle England/Belgium/Luxembourg and Paris max (exceptionnaly I went to Madrid with hubby and South west of France with family 😉 but hubby can’t really stand Mika 🤷🏼‍♀️🤭🤣) Well, that’s it, sorry for the whole story. And so sorry Maggie112, I answered you but I thought you were another Maggie so, no, we don’t know each other ... not yet 😉
