  1. I must say that I never thought Mika's body is perfect, 'cause I have much better at home :teehee: But I have to admit that when I met him in Bourges for the first time and that he was only 20 cm away from me, I really thought "omg, he is perfect!" watching at him (this explain my stupid "adoration look" on pictures of that day ) That must have been the "first meeting magic effect". Now that I am a bit older as a fan (*caugh* 3 months ) I see that he is not perfect, and that's why i am still interested in him, and not bored! About the language thing, I think it's maybe also simply habits: I was not there at the time of the story about "raping" Mika, but I know that in France it's quite usual to say about someone "oh, this guy is so hot, I could rape him" (or something like that). The word "violer" which means "rape" has only one meaning, so it's very clear what it means, but we still use it in such circonstances, without really thinking about what this means in real life. Let's call it "bad humour". Don't know if it's clear, sorry I just want to say that it's maybe more a question of speaking habits in a country than the language itself. This let me think about the way I'm using words, I guess I sometimes use them too lightly.
  2. Love the image, and i think it's quite good for a tatoo, but not on the neck (and not for Mika if possible, but the guy does wathever he wants )
  3. Agree with all what you said guys... I don't like neck tatoos, but it's his body and it has no influence on his music, his voice (except if it's hurting so much that he can't sing anymore )... I would maybe find him less attractive, but that's not the end of the world About the wrong interpretation of the tatoo, I was a bit in shock when someone like Olivier Ciappa (a famous photographer) himself said on the Twitter timeline that it looks like a neo-nazi sign When I first saw the picture I immediatly recognised the girl (even if I didn't know it was from Bansky), I don't think it looks like a nazi sign! I was a bit upset that he wrote such a comment, knowing how Mika is far away from such ideas...
  4. All right, it,s Bantsky picture. So, if it,s real, it means that he has the permission of Bantsky, right? Cause Mika is very famous so he must have asked the right to do it. But isn,t Bansky the "unknown street artist" or am I mixing with someone else? Anyway I don,t like it, I hope and think that it,s a fake, but if it,s a real one, I,m not surprised by the choice of this tatoo, it,s very Mikaish. It,s not bad for a tatoo but I really don,t like tatoos, especially in the neck
  5. Thank you for the explanation Nina! So, how do you call it? A Quick'n Greet? Yes, we've got it finally!! Thank you Eriko! It must have been something like this Poor journalist, maybe he wanted an autograph and couldn't get one, that's why he was angry I agree that it was not professional to write such things to finish the article.
  6. Nothing is impossible in Mika's world
  7. I love people who smile That's because of his smile that I was first time curious about Mika in the French show "Les Enfoirés" and that I started looking for his songs on You Tube.
  8. Do you remember his tweet saying that he jumped in the swimming pool after the show? He said "I wanted to stay underwater". I know we said that it was surely in relation to his song, but I'm asking myself if it couldn't be also that he was fed up with this private party and the people there, and that staying underwater was a way to escape. And I've got a question: when Mika is coming for M&G after gigs, is it related to the gig's contract? Or is it only related to his mood (when he wants / doesn't want to come to see us, or is tired,...)? I guess it's depending on him only, and not the contract, but just want to be sure, because of what this article said.
  9. Thanks Guylaine (I really couldn't do translation like that, I'm sorry that I can't help more with this ) I agree with Camille about the translation (he refused that the picture was published), and about what they say about Mika at the end
  10. Welcome!! I guess you'll enjoy all pictures, videos and so here Then you will be even more in love
  11. Welcome!! You are not the only one, I also discovered him only 4 or 5 months ago Where are you from?
  12. Thanks for the pics and video. I like the invitation card
  13. MIKA official ‏@mikasounds 29 min Did a gig last night with a stage bordering a swimming pool. At the end I couldn't resist jumping in. I wanted to stay underwater. MIKA official ‏@mikasounds 28 min Just found out about popular being playlisted in the US. For those in the states check it out if you haven't already! http://smarturl.it/MikaPopuarFtArianaIT …
  14. Je vais essayer de trouver le temps pour rédiger l'explication complète et je te l'enverrai.

Et, oui, au plaisir de te lire est correct!

    A bientôt,

    Mélanie

  15. Coucou!

    A bientôt

  16. I must say I prefer when he writes about more personal issues, or when he let us discover something that few of us know (like with his tweets sometimes), but like some of you said, it's always interesting to know what Mika thinks about different subjects imo. Even if this one is obviously not very original As I said before, I really don't care about this subject (skipping articles about Snowden and so in the news), but this time (as it was Mika writing ) I read it and it let me think about it a bit. But I can understand that for most people this column is a bit boring or disappointing
  17. His smile and his voice (Of course i like many other things, but it's a good exercise to force myself to chose!)
  18. Thank you for the translation Lucrezia! I like it, I feel as if he is directly talking to me because I was not interested at all in this data story, and he shows me now why I was wrong not to care about. Good job Mika
