In China we have a local news. Last week I found they use Lollipop as background music when report some children activity. Speaking of Lollipop, we have a singer here who had a song which is very similar to Lollipop but Mika is not credited at all. Hi, everyone. I'm Chinese and I'm trying to learn French. I found in my experience in learning English that listening to music helps a lot. But I don't know much about French songs. I have some from my teacher, but they are not only old but also terrible. Since here we all love Mika. I think we might share some taste in music? Except Mika, I like old Maroon 5, old Owl City, Justin Timberlake, Lorde, Musiq And also Keren Ann!

I'm in China and I'm 27 years old. My major in college is English and worked for a travel agency. I've been a fan of Mika I think around 2008 but I'm new on MFC. Mika has been China for 6 times but didn't have any gigs or concerts yet. He is not as popular as Katy Perry, Gaga etc in China but has many hardcore fans.

I've been reading the lyrics recently. I'm not a native speaker. I was always thinking that it is about a boy who has only one foot. Do you think One Foot Boy means a boy with only one foot or a boy is only one foot in height? I think the height thing is more reasonable！

Hey, has anyone notice that on The Voice when the Mexico guy sang Listen he sang a little bit Spanish verse, but Mika didn't recognize the Language! And he didn't show off some Spanish either, which is so not him!! So why is that? Because the Mexican accent? Or he really forgot Spanish?

At first don't love the original version. I don't hate it but it sounds just too Owl City. Am I the only one thinking so? Too me it is kind of good but no Mika. But later I found chiara's version and I found it is still a very Mika song. I really love the melody! Now I like both Chiara's version and the original one. To me I think there are many songs in TOOL like this. At first I found them not Mika and choose to be disappoted while ignore the fact that they are actually good songs. However, later I found them still very Mika!

I've been been celebrating Chinese New Year with my family.Actually I don't want to use the word "celebrate" because I think it is more of a responsibility. Don't have much time here. I've been reading everyone's post. it took a while cos my english is not that good. It is just amazing to know that he is so talented in languages. Especially after I knew that he doesn't even have an obvious accent in French and Italian. BTW here is an American accent interview I found.I think this is the strongest American accent interview of his I've ever watched. And this is one of the more British interview. Since English is not my native language, I'm not sure if I'm right.

Yes I use Baidu but not much. As a tourism city we have not only history but also great food. I love Taiwan and hope later I could take a trip there！Maybe this year I think!

I think I found in many interviews too! I mean the American accent. i'm using ipad so it's hard to post it. i'll post it later when using computer. I think it is because his father speaks American English and he lives in London. So he is familiar with both and doesn't have a very stubborn accent. It depends on the enviroment. If the journalist speaks in an American way, he will be led to the same way he speaks and vice versa. For foreigners like me, his English is easier to understand than either pure british or american.
