  1. "Unwritten", "These Words", "I Wanna Have Your Babies" were all UK chart hits around 18 years ago.
  2. Oh yes! Sorry, some confusion with the term "live episodes".
  3. I guess it must be in early May, before he flies out to Japan and Korea.
  4. Just seen a group of about 30 youths on mopeds speeding through town. But not nicely. Spread across the whole street, ignoring all other traffic and pedestrians, even mounting the pavement. One woman had to quickly dive into the cafe to avoid being knocked over! They really think they're untouchable.
  5. That was infuriating, a little research would have shown how much more there is to him. Unfortunately, there's a deep cynicism in British tabloids, they love to make snide remarks, and pounce on anything they can turn into a negative. And tv critics are generally lazy. Honestly, it scares me when he does things that will feature in the British press, because I know how bad they can be. So it is good to see the comments coming around to him with "how wrong I was" and acknowledging him as "extraordinary".
  6. You're his Whisperer. He thought you knew already.
  7. Oh! Once I'd logged in to TunnelBear, it said the free trial had been upgraded to 2000MB. Handy.
  8. I think your ears are hearing what you want them to hear!
  9. It would be a very unusual show for such a prestigious venue.
  10. It's just you. We're just enjoying the show, the music, the talents, and seeing Mika on screen again. No idea why you have such a filthy mind. Missing the NC?
  11. Birmingham? The episode 2 preview says it's from Leeds, and Lucy is shown briefly. And Mika's wearing the same jumper talking about her and about the other Leeds talents. The Daily Fail strikes again? Edit: Yep, definitely Leeds. The Daily Fail not checking facts again.
  12. I hope he was well compensated. That crowd seem quite ignorant. Hate to see it.
  13. I actually think "Early in the morning" is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard. ❤
  14. I've just realised - it's shown on Hump day. That'll please the camel club. 🤣
  15. Well, I'm crying. How about you? Loved it, wonderful performances and Mika and Lang are so good together.
  16. It looks good, but it tells me the first 500mb are free, then it's paid. No idea how much streaming 500mb is.
  17. I was by myself in the office at work so I put the soundtrack playlist on. Colleague wanders in to collect his coat. He stops and listens (it was on track 2). "Oh that's nice. I like that.. Wait, is that Mika's soundtrack that you mentioned before?" "Yes, yes it is. " "It's really nice. Peaceful. I could work to that. (...long pause...) Um, what's it called again?" I sent him the link to the playlist. 😊 Happy and proud.
  18. Oh he did, there was the headmaster at St Phillips who took him back into school, and the lady who gave him cake while helping him find ways of managing his dyslexia (Mrs Coogan was it?). And the English/Drama teacher at Westminster. And the male teacher in charge of the 'freaks' club who took them to the pub on Fridays. There were some good ones. Thank goodness for them.
  19. So nice to see and hear him all enthusiastic! And his fun with Claudia. Excellent promo for the show. And the dog food bit was brilliant! But, did they really have to bring up his school days yet again? Anyone with half a brain and a little background research would know its not something to be addressed in this format. Look at his body language. As soon as she asked the question, bang! arms crossed across his body, defensive mode, he's not open to the line of questioning. And then to have that presenter carrying on "aww, but look how far you've come" and "you've got new friends now" like she was talking to a 12 year old. How patronising! Good grief, he's a grown man, treat him with some respect! Ugh. Sorry, but that section really annoyed me. Reminded me why I stopped watching, it's the telly equivalent of the tablod press.
  20. Oh that's a good point! It might be a video interview. I don't think he does, he said the same thing in the live chat from Korea back in 2015 (2016?). But I suspect what he doesn't like is the fakery and tackiness associated with it. All the cheap tat and overpriced roses, and the feeling of having to do something. That's not real. Make it heartfelt and genuine, and he'd love it. Look at him dancing at his brother's wedding.
