  1. There was a preview of this year's Eurovision Song Festival on Rai 2 at about 8.15 pm this evening. They showed several clips of last year's edition in Turin in which Mika appeared, including a few seconds of his interval performance (in front of the giant heart).
  2. Lang Lang plays starting from minute 15 but I was unable to find Lucy here (I didn't watch the whole video).
  3. https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1767673/queen-camilla-coronation-concert-lucy-illingworth Lucy played at the coronation concert!
  4. He's a real teaser! Who knows what that's going to become. 😄
  5. @Paoletta Tra i vari concerti di Mika nei prossimi mesi l'evento di Piano City è forse quello più vicino a te, vero?
  6. I thought the seats were free but I could be wrong. My understanding was that the performances of the main program are free
  7. I think you're probably right. Well, now I know what Mika's up to before his gigs in Asia. Wish I had Thursday off!
  8. Ecco, in questo momento invidio chi vive in nord Italia : https://www.pianocitymilano.it/concerto/4148/
  9. So is it just a few songs or at least an hour long performance?
(ANSA).
  11. I called the Ufficio Stampa of Piano City in Milan and was told they weren't able (or perhaps weren't allowed) to give details yet re: Mika's participation in the opening of the Piano City Festival. The man who answered the phone said to keep an eye on the Piano City website or MIka's social media for future info.
  12. Re: Mario Luca Giusti This is the link I was referring to https://www.facebook.com/mariolucagiusti/?locale=it_IT
  13. I found this but there's nothing about Mika. https://www.yesmilano.it/en/whats-on/all-events/piano-city-milano-2022
  14. How did you know about the Luisella Frediani post? 😀
  15. Mario Luca Giusti (possibly the Mario Luca in the pic) has a villa at Forte dei Marmi, which is about 5 miles from Pietrasanta.
  16. Is it Mario Luca Giusti? https://www.antichedimorefiorentine.it/en/florence-art-culture/tuscan-excellence-mario-luca-giusti/ Love the colors and designs on his FB page.
  17. I was trying to follow part the short interview with Mika so I slowed down the speed of the video. So from 4.30 this is what I understood: The presenter says that the song resembles Mika and Vianney because it's a meeting of 2 worlds (universes). Mika answers that their worlds are different if you think in terms of colors and details. When you have a meeting of 2 different worlds it's necessary to focus on simple things, on the essential. The song is very delicate and simple but super effecive. It enters your head. Its delicateness is its strength. After that, the only thing that I understood is that they entered the studio and 3 hours later the song was written and Mika ends saying that they liked something enormously (I guess the song or the experience). Can someone fill in the blanks? (maybe a correction or two is necessary as well)
  18. I wasn't expecting a fan to know that kind of detail. Has Mika mentioned it over the years?
  19. So who's looking after the girls? Someone who's staying at Mika's Tuscany home?
  20. https://www.tuscany-villas.com/blog/a-302/badia a passignano.html This is the area where they were.
  21. Pisa is a 50-minute train ride from Florence, so I don't think there are any direct flights from Florence to Pisa. Perhaps Shana finished rehearsing in Florence (outside Florence where Mika lives?) and she was on her way to Pisa airport to fly out of Italy. She may believe that Pisa airport is Florence's airport. Peretola is actually Florence's airport. Or maybe the pics refer to when she was arriving at Florence airport and later was going to Pisa?
