  1. I'm listening to this for several days now :-))
  2. I know, it's not Mika, but this reminded me of the helicopter scene from Sherlock (BBC). I think Mika would be as theatrical as Moriarty here
  3. I just googled "Jimmy slang meaning" and was surprised Jimmy to my Jaw, I see. Mika, you naughty little thing.
  4. But Harry Potter was changed too. Like Howarts was Roxfort, Gryffindor was Griffendél, Slytherin was Mardekár, Hufflepuff was Hugrabug, and Ravenclaw was Hollóhát etc., etc.
  5. They wouldn't have dared to change Jimmy because we had a musician named Jimmy Zambo, who was referred to as "King" (I've never liked his music but for Hungarians he was the King of Music or something like that. He later committed suicide with a gun.).
  6. They thought that for Hungarians JR and Sue Ellen is such a strange name and wouldn't have remembered it. It was another time.
  7. Oh, I see. I thought that frazzin meant swearing, but I didn't know that "razzin frazzin" is an expression. I thought it was just some slang. Thank you for explaining this to me. In hungarian Muttley's name was "Mardel". I don't even mention Harry Potter with all the names. Even Dallas, we didn't have Sue Ellen, we had Samantha, and instead of "J.R. Ewing", we had "Jockey Ewing".
  8. So "any medicine they give you, you're taking"? From the Mika song... :-) I'm sorry about the filling, tooth ache is one of the worst kind of pain. I hope you get better soon. But what's "razzin"?
  9. I think it's a cute song but I prefer Mika's voice alone without Vianney too. :-) And I don't know, it could be a little faster but it's cute either way. I had a moment with my former doctor too, so I can certainly relate to the message (although I think it's only a metaphor). And of course, I can also interpret the song as being about the Doctor from Doctor Who
  10. I didn't know he likes the movie "A Clockwork Orange". His fake eyelashes and the hat are from there, I think. At least it makes me think of that...
  11. He didn't have a concert in Greek before either (I think) and now he will. Nothing is impossible. He wasn't in Hungary for ages but I'm not giving up hope. You shouldn't either. :-))
  12. Yes, his music definitely helps with our mood, especially in a time of need (health issues), but I was so depressed, I didn't even think of Mika, although it would have been good for me to listen to his music at that time. I'm sorry you most likely can't travel to one of his concerts, but "most likely" is not "never", so there is hope, and who knows? Maybe Mika will come to you one day (sorry, I forgot which country you live in). :-)
  13. This is not my first release, but I didn't like Yoyo that much last year (don't hate me, please that song is just not for me, or I don't know), and before that - from the fall of 2019 to the spring of 2021 - I had health issues and I didn't really follow his work anymore or did anything else I normally do (my vision was deteriorating I couldn't read anymore and didn't see faces either, doctors didn't know why and I was very depressed. But since then they found out I have an autoimmune disease, I'm treating it and I'm okay now). Before this, I listened to all of his music and loved all of them, but I wasn't this happy about the new song announcement as I am now.
  14. This is really random but I didn't think that I would be this happy when Mika announces a new song (even if it's a duet). I've been smiling since yesterday. What happens when he will announce a concert in London and what happens if I can buy my ticket? I will be over the moon. Edit: I loved his music for over 10 years but I became a fan in the last year, I don't know why this didn't happen until now
  15. I like Felhő too, but I'm afraid that English-speaking readers won't like it, or won't know how to pronounce it. The name can't be character related yet, because another character names him when they meet, so we don't know a lot about his character until later (they don't usually have a name, but my main character gives him one). Wispy is not bad, I'll think about it. It sounds cute...
  16. Oh, I didn't know that about Plushie. Then Fluffie it is (at least until I come up with a better one). Thank you so much, Silver!
  17. Can someone who is a native English speaker help me? I'm in the process of translating my fantasy novel into English. I have a character who is a cloud-like being (he can also fly). I want a cute name for him. The three options are: Fluffie (because HP already used Fluffy), Floaty (but I don't like it because with the letter "t" it doesn't sound cute, at least not for my Hungarian ear), or Plushie. Which one sounds better and cuter for English-speaking readers? (In Hungarian his name is simply Felhő which means Cloud, but the English version doesn't sound that beautiful.) I hope it's okay to ask it here.
  18. That was the weirdest thread I have read here, on MFC.
  19. And we also give the opportunity to our actors/actresses and the whole crew to get VIP tickets for their guests for free, so we reserved those tickets too.
  20. Yes, transferring tickets from one provider to another is also a common practice in Hungary (I work for a theatre and mostly I put the tickets online in a software) for reasons like which provider sells more tickets or which provider works for less commission on ticket sales, or: If a concert was previously canceled or postponed but tickets were already sold than the provider would reserve as many seats as it assumed to be needed for those who want to come to the new date with the same ticket. At least we do for these reasons, but I assume that's common practice anywhere in the world.
  21. I added a signature because I'm in the mood for BSG (I'm a huge fan of science fiction) but I'm not sure this is the one. Well, time will tell. I hope this counts as random. :-))
