I said I'd like to be involved in the first thread but then this girl I was paired with couldn't do it because her parents didn't allow her. Mika Mail is still (and will remain) open for new joiners!  As long as Pinkunicorn is not here, I'll try to handle the Mika Mail program  For those that are interested in this project but have absolutely no clue what all the fuss is about - here's a short description (or check the original thread here):  This here is about getting to know other MFCers better and receiving parcels from them as well as sending parcels to them. For example, a member from the USA might not be able to get delicious Swiss chocolate in the US and will be delighted to get an MM-partner from Europe that will send it to her. There are a lot of things America hasn't but Europe has and vice versa (or Asia or Africa or Australia). The idea Pinkunicorn and Lilmot came up with is that you collect lots of various snacks, little toys, stationary, magazines or whatever you feel like sending that is unique to where you live or that you really like and send them to a fellow MFCer who you trust enough to give your address to through PM, and they will do the same in return.  The first part of the project already worked well and left behind a bunch of happy MFCers now chewing foreign candy  *draws imaginary line to indicate that part 1 has ended and that part 2 is about to start* First of all: I've been asked by quite a number of MMers if they can be paired again with their old partner - this is, of course, absolutely no problem! But you should (can, must) keep in touch with your MM Part 1-partner anyway (well, don't do so if you hate each other )! Life is a contact business *cough* Being paired with a new partner doesnt mean that you cannot keep in touch with your old partner or send parcels/postcards/PMs/letters to him/her - it doesn't have to be limited to this project!  What we are going to do is the following: I will PM each and every one of you with the new link for this thread and ask you if you've still got the will & the time to participate again and if yes, ask you if there are any new preferences for an MM-partner.
