Petra
maybe two names are not a bad idea - might spare the embarrassing moment of "his name is humphrey!" - "WTF?" - "ehm.. well... it has NOTHING to do with that penguin... cough cough *runsoff*"
norwalk174
No one has been moved more than 3 places, its just been jiggled to cut costs and speed it up Postage in the uk is 1-2 days, so theres no point for example, sending it to Hong Kong which takes 2-3 weeks just for it to be sent back to the UK straight away and its cheaper too.So shush. well i didn't know you were going to be smart about this

Oakie Doke
Oooohhh! Is it too late for me to join? Surely he wants to spend more than 5 days in Australia? Hmm, how much will it cost... Air mail $16.95 <20kg United Kingdom That's not tooooo bad, okay, can I be in? Do I have to PM or something? Aww, I vote Humphrey, that suits him. And we can tell him when we pack him up each time, "Humphrey, you're leaving ... to a new country!"

norwalk174
What penguin? i think she was talking about this "... and London Zoo has named a penguin after me... soo rock and roll! Petra
eeeeeeeeeeeeexactly! I think Humphry is great - I love the idea of sending him off with an "Humphrey... we are leaving!" I also got another idea - as Holly already pointed out somewhere (I'm not sure whether that was meant as a joke or not ), Humphrey (I'll just call him like that now until he is named differently)could get his own myspace. If he had one, we could already upload our pictures there - what if we create an emailaddress for Humphrey (humphreytheelephant@hotmail or so; in case that is needed) and then create a myspace with it. the password could be PMed to every person on the list or there could be a file on Humphrey's USB with the data or the password is just sent on a little note together with Humphrey. to ensure that there is no chaos on the myspace-page, everyne could change the password and then send the new password to the next humphreyist and this could change it again and so on and so on. IF we are going to do something like this, I'd volunteer myself for the organisation!
pinkunicorn123
Please welcome Phunkygal onto the team (as opposed to the list.) I would like to state that for the moment, all queries, comments, applications for this thread still go through me until sectors are deligated to specific 'managerial' members of this project. Thank you.

Petra
oh thank you i just re-read the rules and it came up my mind that there is a little problem for me as i'm going to stay in london until the 1st of march and when i get the bearephant on the 26th, i will have to keep it for more than 5 days, especially if i want to show him my hometown. so either i keep him a few days longer (not like two weeks but just until the 5th or 6th of march (sorry)) or melman passes humphrey to someone else in brixton

It would be unfair to move you down the list, so i will give you an extension, however i would appreciate your sending the bear on as soon as possible, there are A LOT of people to get through. You have an extention to 10 days maximum.
