According to Brian's website Queen & Paul Rodgers played 'We Believe' at their Mannheim gig last night (2nd of October) for the first time! I hope somebody puts it on youtube soon. That's my favourite track off the new album.

I thought this picture was brilliant (from the 'Queen News' section on Brian's site)..

I know what you mean! I was only 2 months old when he died! But I'm sure that if I had been older and a Queen fan, I would have been soooo depressed when he died:boxed:... I would have gone mad or something!:wink2:

I had to write an oral on him for a project the other night and I was in tears by the end!

Hello people!

We have one very happy (though previously very absent) Queen Freak here, so I hope you've got your reading glasses on:naughty:!!

Last night was without a shadow of a doubt the best night of my entire life! (and I'm sorry if you've already discussed this... but I couldn't find it.)

Earlier in the day, my parents told me we were going out for dinner that night and that we were going to see someone very special there! So at about 3pm, I started fretting about what to wear to see this mystery person. We set off a little after 4pm and drove to a place called Sibaye Casino and Entertainment Kingdom. I was nearly jumping out my seat by this point!

We made our way to the iZulu theatre at the back of the casino, collected our tickets and went inside. Imgine my joy and delight when I read the ticket and saw the big headline: It's A Kinda Magic!!! :biggrin2:

Skipping through the build up: The show was completely indescribable! Every detail was perfect, right down to Freddie's "eh-yo" bits (though this crowd was far less responsive than that at Wembley etc.) and throwing his water on the crowd! It was like watching the entire band: Brian, Roger, John and Freddie of course:wub2: right there on stage in front of me!! I nearly cried I was so excited!:punk:

It was literally a perfect re-inactment of all those live DVDs I have watched and so fastidiously studied! My parents almost had to drag me out when it was over!

Then just to top it all off, I happened to run into Peter Freestone afterwards when I scuttled off to the merchandise stand. He was soooo sweet! and when my mum told him about my Queen obsession he laughed and said it was wonderful that people my age could still enjoy the music and carry on the legacy...

It was absolutely a dream come true! All those things I've always wanted to do and see... and though it wasn't the real band, it was so close it was frightening!

The stage went black and you saw the black universe behind and then the place went mad as HAMMER TO FALL kicked in!! (suprise) !! then straight into Tie Your Mother down :punk:

I always always kept away thinking it would be awful without Freddie but respect due it was amazing!!!

I cried so hard during love of my life (Brian said he could feel the spirit of Freddie in the place) , at times it was almost as if he was there amongst us

Bijou was the first time you saw Freddie on the screen , tears everywhere at that stage , grown men crying .. including me!!! .Boh Rap you also saw Freddie .. he sang the intro and the end

Paul Rodgers is amazing I must say ... he let the crowd sing where they needed to sing and also gave so much respect to Freddie .. he won me over!

39 was amazing , they come to the front of the stage and jam and stay there

I laughed , cried , rocked and danced!!!

Awesome
