Jazzy Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 not talking about internet browsers errors because of everybody booking !! good luck... i think bestival is the best option for me as isle of wight is sold out (unless some people cancel) and bestival is too close to my first day in Martinique... but i heard bestival is not the worst so i'm pleased with that ! I can tell I'm going to be going absolutely mental on that day, completely stressing out. GAH. Good luck with getting your bestival tickets! Mika has nothing to do there, I wonder if this info is accurate. Aaaaaaaaaaaabsolutely I don't see what he would do there... It's specialised in French-speaking stuff... BUT I just saw on the 2007 programmation that Ayo was there... She was the only non-speaking French artist... So maybe it would work for Mika??? I would not count too much on the Francofolies though because it's so full of renowned artists that Mika can withdraw quite easily (like Werchter last year)... avoca Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Arcachon is a real concert but it's a small city (don't be touchy people from Arcachon )... i checked if i could find something about the venue (Stade Velodrome, another stadium) and it's nothing compared to Le Parc des Princes : Vélodrome is abour 6000 people (still according to the fiew info i found)... so i wouldn't bet on this one either... my guess : Parc des Princes (uncancellable ) and Francofolies de la Rochelle, one of the most famous summer festivals in France... maybe Nîmes maybe maybe Arcachon and Arras (as we haven't heard anything official about Arras yet... and it's not on the mikamyspace even if they updated today with the new dates... and i would forget about Aix-les-Bains he's massive compared to the other bands scheduled at this festival... Glastonburry and V festival won't interfere with those dates in France apparently... but Glasto being just a few days before Le Parc des Princes, i wouldn't bet on all the concerts/featuring between both and after le Parc des Princes... i feel like a bookmaker I agree. so whether I'm going or not (NIKKI, I HEARD YOU... ) I'd not bet on aix or the small ones. The next Glastonbury Festival will be held on the weekend of 27th, 28th and 29th June 2008. The dates for the seventh new Isle of Wight festival are confirmed as from Friday 13th - Sunday 15th June 2008. Rock Werchter 2008 The dates for 2008 are confirmed as Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th July Roskilde 2008 Thursday 3rd - Sunday 6th July 08 The 7th Heineken Open'er Festival takes place in Babie Doly Airfield, Gdynia, Poland between Friday 4th and Sunday 6th July 2008. Oxegen 2008 Expanding to three days in 2008, Ireland's annual multi-stage music festival weekend returns to Punchestown Racecourse, Naas from Friday 11th & Sunday 13th July 2008. The fifteenth T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2008 on Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July. Big Chill @ Eastnor Castle 2008 The dates for 2008 are confirmed as Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd August (He won't do this, but if he does, there will be trouble - right avoca?) 2008's Sziget Festival will be from the 11th to the 18th of August V Festival returns on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2008.
