I actually prefer the English version of Indian...all that curry sauce. You Brits love to drown everything in some sort of gravy. I love it. And after this, he'll be bendy-er than ever. I hate hearing how stressed he is, it makes me quite upset actually. Hmm...just because he's under a bit of pressure doesn't necessarily mean that he's particularly stressed. And if he is, no better cure than shutting off from the world to focus on meditation. Actually, if he really connects with it, it really might help him to make a much calmer, less hyperactive album. Maybe that's what Perez was referring to when he said Mika cut his hair. Ahh, don't say it! Those pretty curls...sigh. Now, MFC, repeat our new mantra: It's only hair, hair grows back. It's only hair, hair grows back. (Maybe if we say it enough, we'll all start to believe it!) I suppose he's got to do what he's got to do...*sighs* Yeah, he's got to follow his heart. That makes me think, though - wasn't there some artist in the '70s or '80s who ran off to India, and then fell so in love with the culture that he cut ties with his record label and gave up his career? (I aint buying it just yet guys) unfortunately i think it's not:thumbdown: you know that famous quote "the more i see of humans the more I admire dogs"...well, that's how i feel right now... i've been looking around the net for some info, i do practize some kind of hindouist methods myself and i wanted to know more about mika's retreat since i found this amazing etc.etc. ayway i found this blog...i'm not sure if i understand correctly, if those people are paparazzi or fans but anyway (god knows how) they knew about mika's indian travel and they reserved a place in the same^place of pilgrimage... i waont post the name of the blog or anything because they have a lot of stolen pics of more or less good quality and this is to me a total violation of privacy...perfect piece of trash blog, those people are mad anyway, here is the the picture who is to my opinion the less private, because it's outside and you can see other people, he is busy practising......i just hope (i'm naive) that no one will find their stupid blog) and that those pics wont be in the mirror or anywhere else...poor mika:thumbdown: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In response, Daler Mehndi, young Mika's older brother, has said, "This party kissing is not Indian culture." While surfing channels mindlessly shortly after recording my audio piece for the day for Cricinfo, I came across footage of the incident on Channel 7. Rakhi and Mika were laughing around together in front of his birthday cake, and the cameraman had clearly been instructed to focus on her, well, curves. (I hate that word, I really do!) So you had a close-up of bare back with camera zooming out to reveal Rakhi in a backless dress, then close-up of her bosom from the side, then camera moving up and down like a caress, and so on. It was pornography with clothes on. There was plenty of banter, and Rakhi gave Mika a long peck on the cheek, which clearly delighted Mika. After cutting the cake, he grabbed her, and as all his friends looked on in delight, kissed her on the lips. It was clear, when he grabbed her, that she didn't want to be kissed (or grabbed, for that matter). In an altercation after this, the gentleman accompanying her, a rather hefty fellow, was also allegedly beaten up. I'm sure a lot of people will see the footage and conclude from Rakhi's flirtatious behaviour that Mika may have been justified in taking the liberties he did. That's a pity, because that kind of thinking is used to justify matters much worse than an enforced kiss. More power to Rakhi for complaining about it, though I'm not sure what penalties the Indian penal code proscribes for this, and how much time that will take to come through. Rakhi may well even choose to drop the case, as I'm sure the two of them have many mutual friends. But Mika has, hopefully, learnt a lesson from this. (Not the one about 'party kissing' and Indian culture.) Ah, and you ask me what I think of 'party kissing' in general? Well, as long as there is consent on both sides, I don't really care what the hell people do at parties. Speaking for myself, I find mua-mua cheek-brushy-brushy air-kissing rather awkward, and parties aren't quite my natural environment. I like footage, though. I'm not very good at hunting things down online so this blog has moved so the link wouldn't work (you know...I always thought his brother was YOUNGER than him lol). I was standing next to the catwalk and watching her on screen. I thought the video was just some background imagery but when I turned around she was making her way up the catwalk.
