iadoremika
I eat very bad. And im fat so theres even more reason to eat better. But i mean cookies are the love of my life! AND im going to Culinary school in 2 months to learn about pastries....too much yumminess. *facepalm* No no...never say that. There is just more of you to love:wink2: Culinary school?!? That's so awesome!!! Joe Fresh Clothing. [/b] Yeah...like from those commercials, right? I knowww it tastes great and it makes me happy! But then when I try eating healthy it FEELS better. I feel light. It's like I'm used to my tummy aching from junk food. Very true my friend, very true. You can also eat MORE of the healthy food... Good recommendation. When I was younger I didn't drink much water, but I think I just aquired the taste, now I regularly drink probably at least 3 litres a day, some days 4 or 5.It's just a matter of taking in a bit at a time. I take some 2 litre bottles to work and decant them into a 1 litre sports cap bottle and just sip, sip all day, and drink water with meals. I should probably start doing that... I don't normally wear perfume because I'm averse to heavy and strong scents. So when I'm not wearing Body Shop's Satsuma, I wear a scent called "Clean". Smells like you've just stepped out of the shower. Satsuma smells so delicious. You have "Clean"?!? I want that...where did you get it?
Suzy
Satsuma smells so delicious. You have "Clean"?!? I want that...where did you get it? You can get it at Holt Renfrew or Sephora. I've tried some of those independent perfume stores (very few carry them).

Kavi
I recommend the movie "A walk to remember" Apart from being my all time favourite, I think others can also relate to the story a bit. It was the first movie that made me cry (that didn't involve animals)!

Kavi
Katy Perry! Seriously, she seems so cool and free spirited, she's gorgeous and her voice....AMAZING...plus her lyrics are just wicked and her songs are relateable (is that a word?!) Some songs I enjoy and highly recommend are: The box (I totally relate to that song), Ure so gay, thinking of you, simple, Hot n cold, mannequin and one of the boys (another relateable song). Suzy
I recommend ... everyone take a peek at Fafi's illustrations. She's known as the graffiti artist from France who draws "Fafinette" images that are nymph-like, sexy and liberated, complete with hearts painted on their cheeks. Okay, so these are some of them (not necessarily my favourites, but just highlighting some familiar themes). ---
Suzy
Fafinettes are popping up on all sorts of product lines - athletic shoes - (Adidas, I think), Coca-cola, and just recently, MAC (cosmetics) as seen here:

DarkLight
I agree with that, it's a good combonation.I like the New Pornographers also, listening right now :thumb_yello: I recommend: Making your own Jewelry Especially; Things with sparkles and bright colors. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, anything. Because; It's easy, fun, feels good to know you made what you are wearing, it looks good, and nobody else has anything like it. Unless; You're completely hopeless with home crafts. (Even if you think you are, you probably aren't, just try it =]) oh i love making my own jewellery & watches & clocks I put pics of who or whatever i want onto my jewellery & watches & clocks I currently have an amazing large lilac strap watch with a gorgeous pic of Mika on that I made & also a clock with a lovely black & white pic on (I'll post pics If I can get my darned camera to work) and I don't know if anyone's recommended any of my recommendations already (sorry I'm too tired to read through the whole thread atm) but MY recommendations are BOOKS: Angus thongs & full frontal snogging by louise rennison (it is a book for teens but even my mum & dad who are both 54 just LOVE them they are soo incredibly funny all the book in the series are, that one is the 1st one there are 8 in total atm) p.s I love you by cecelia ahern where rainbows end by cecelia ahern if you could see me now by cecelia ahern are you dave gorman? by dave gorman & danny wallace (yes it is a bit of a weird book I must admit but quite funny) even funnier is dave gorman's googlewhack adventure (of course by dave gorman) Music Darren Hayes (his new stuff is a million times better than his old stuff, his old stuff was great but the new stuff is like way cooler & funkier) even if you've heared his old stuff & wasn't keen you should try some of his new stuff & vice versa if you go to his myspace one song I really reccomens from the one's he's got on there is I just want you to love me, it is so beautiful (pardon the pun:naughty: so beautiful btw is a name of one of Darren's songs) http://www.myspace.com/darrenhayes another one I recommend is Darius (he doesn't just sing he acts too) http://www.myspace.com/dariusdanesh he is a really brilliant singer/songwriter/musician (I haven't seen him act yet but presume he's just as good) another recommendation from me is an unsigned band kissing freddie I 'know' the guy who worked with one of the girls (Marina) a few years back (he's called greg scott, a fantastically funny presenter) hence why she sent me a friends request a month or so ago she still presents but likes to sing too http://www.myspace.com/kissingfreddie another recommendation is doris pearson (some of you may remember her from a 80's group 5 star who I just loved, still do in fact) http://www.myspace.com/dorispearson I also recommend her brother stedman who I got to be 'friends with' by the fact I 'know' greg scott who worked with a guy called lee baldry who happens to be friends with stedman http://www.myspace.com/stedmanpearsonuk and here's 5 star official myspace so you can check out the old stuff http://www.myspace.com/fivestarofficial Illusionist/artist Derren Brown he's a fantastic illusionist & also a marvellous artist!! & one of the nicest guys in the fame world (I've had the utmost pleasure of meeting him 15 times & taking part in his live show back in march, he chose me himself he normally throws stuff into the audience to pick people to take part but he came into the front row & came up to me & picked me to do a trick with woohooo) he remember's me very well (well after seeing me 15 times I'd be surprised if he didn't) a lot of people go huh:shocked: when he says oh hi chantelle, they must think how the hell does he know her it makes me laugh the looks on their faces here's a link to my Derren myspace it's the only truly accurate & up to date Derren myspace (I pride myself on that) http://www.myspace.com/derrenbrowninfopromoetc and here's a link to his artwork on his own official website I have a copy of his self portrait signed I have to yet put it up on the wall, I need to get a new frame the old one smashed in the move of house a while back http://www.derrenbrown.co.uk/pictures/gallery/artwork he generally does portraits of famous people (I'd love to see him do one of mika it'd be interesting!!) FILMS: films i recommend are the illusionist, liar liar, bruce almighty, bedazzled (the version with brendan fraser & liz hurly) & george of the jungle. and my final recommendation for now is presenter Greg scott who I mentioned above (he really is funny & quite a sweet guy) http://www.gregscott.tv/

iadoremika
Bodies Without Organs I like them already!!! (I'm listening to them right now...) I live in Canada, and after reading a Mika interview, I checked out some of their songs and liked what I heard. So I looked for a CD and couldn't get one (HMV couldn't even order it for me...) so I asked my grandparents in England to see if they could get one. Well... my aunt knows a Swedish woman so she was able to get the CD for me. So they CD was sent from Sweden to England and now over to Canada!!! How crazy is that? My grandparents said it's in the mail...but I haven't gotten it yet...hmmm...hehe

iadoremika
I recommend... Stila Smudge Pots Eyeliner It's a sort of gel eyeliner that comes in a little pot. And it's magic- amazing colour, lasts all day, looks great and you can line the inner of your bottom eye (the rim of the eye). Smudge it across your lashline with a small angle brush to achieve great results. You can also blend it out a bit more and use it as a sort of eyeshadow and you can create a smokey eye with it as well. Not to mention- I find it easier than liquid liner to use and it lasts longer than any pencil liner I've tried. And- you can easily create that sexy "cat eye" look. I mean, it is a bit expensive and yes you need to buy the brush but I'm telling you- it's SO worth it.
