I reckon this is due to the fact that I have read the other thread mainly at times when a new blog had just come in and coincidentally there was no such meat talk of any serious sort going on then (at least not that I noticed, and I would have noticed). So, basically, I was lucky Whenever I went there and read what I read (which is, admittedly not even half of the posts) it didn't even occur to me that that one was the thread others were raising such a fuss about, as from what I read it was just the usual chatter. But obviously I just missed out on the porn. If I had read it, I would have just turned away and focused on another thread. Easy as that. Not because I am feeling so superior towards the ones who were feeling like drooling over Mika's torso at that very moment, but just because to me personally there's nothing really new about that aspect and there's other topics or blog entries of his, I'm taking more of an interest in. Generally I'm against any sort of turning molehills into mountains and having been around in the other thread last night when the attempt was made again, I just want to say that the mod who was around did a brilliant job. Kudos for that. I don't think Mika needs the sort of protection and paternalism that is offered so generously in here these days. Noone posting here is his mother or his friend. Or his nanny. Or him. So why would they know what he would consider flattering or funny or ridiculous or gross or degrading [... continune as you like]. He's an adult. He's far from being a dumbass and he's probably well aware of the reactions he might get for a video showing him rubbing mud all over himself. Found I had to skip too many pages in the official thread (bored, not offended, though it sounds like I dropped out before it got too bad) I've enjoyed all the blogs, but like the written ones best. Also, I like the occasional snippets of emotion rather than info- but, guy like, Mika doesn't go much for talking about his feelings, except after the Beirut gig. And the press thread I liked the interviewer who didn't let him get away with saying his house was the most Lebanese thing about him, and got him to say his cheerful resiliance was.
