Mika Moments on Spoof Talent show

Hi Everyone.

Tonight I watched the spoof talent show. Britain's Got The Pop Factor and Possibly a Nes Jesus Christ Superstar, soapstar, strictly on Ice.

One of the spoof auditionees came on with a heloum ballon, and sang GK after sucking some helium. It was so funny!

But then... after one of the spoof finalists had sung. Pete Waterman said... "When we had our Mika week, you stole the show!

Later, Happy Endings (instrumental) was played when transexual contestand Gerald-ine was being featured.

And I must say, the show was far better that X Factor. It was so great!!!

Yes, it was priceless!! But I wish they'd shown a bit of the Mika week! I hope Simon Cowell has been taking notes.

And I was so sad to see R Wayne booted out in third place! His rendition of YMCA was legendary!

I wanted him to win as well, but I knew Peter Kay's character, Geraldine would. I'm really sorry the show wasn't real because I really love 'The Winner's Song'. It's way better than the "number ones" on the real X Factor. They are all cheesy covers! At least 'The Winner's Song' is original and good!

Great news regarding the spoof talent show. They HAVE released the CD of 'The Winner's Song', and ALSO a DVD of the whole thing!

I'm so going to get the DVD and save it for something else (apart from Mika's DVD) to watch at Christmas.

But I've been wondering about the following things...

I would love to know how many people worried about not having a purple button on their remote, and thought something was wrong with it.

I'm sondering how many people phoned in to vote, or TRIED to

And how many people are expecting a MIKA WEEK on the real X Factor. I'm going to suggest that on the site, and if there is one next year, I wonder how many of the contestants will turn up on stage with helium balloons!

 I missed the reference to Mika week AND the GK-on-helium bit!!

I saw most of the show, funniest thing I have seen all year, apart from repeats of Fawlty Towers, that is :roftl:

Best bits: Rick Astley, and Cat Deeley swearing at the audience.

Just so you all know. I DID go onto the REAL X Factor site and requested a Mika Week next year. If anyone's interested in joining me...

http://www.itv.com

Click on X factor, register, and select a topic. I used the one about show two, which is a Michael Jackson week. I said basically, that's great, but could we have a Mika week next year.

There'll be another album of songs to choose from next year.

:naughty: In many ways I would like there to be a Mika Week on X Factor...but then again, do I really want to hear a load of karaoke specialists/club singers destroying Mika's fine tunes on primetime ITV? :boxed::naughty: Oh I don't know, maybe it would be fun.....

It would prove how superior Mika's voice is, and they have Abba Weeks, Michael Jackson weeks, why not a Mika week! He has a variety of songs, some ballads, some upbeat, some tragic, some fun! No one can sing like Mika, but I'd sure love to see them try!

I can't believe I missed this, I love Peter Kay.

Hopefully they'll repeat it on E4 soon.

Oh no Rose... :boxed: if you like Peter Kay then you missed a real treat, it was sooo funny! I hope you get to see a repeat.

I know a lot of people don't 'get' Peter Kay, but surely he has hit the jackpot with this show! It was LOL-hilarious from start to finish and so well observed.

And the Winner's Song is hilarious! :thumb_yello:

I love 'The Winner's Song'. It's way better than anything sung by X factor winners (even though they always get Christmas number one)

I loved the whole show, the send ups of all the hard-luck-stories that we DO get on X Factor. All the auditions, expecially 'Helium Man'. 2 Up 2 Down - priceless!! R Wayne - Hilarious. Gerald-ine - Brilliant. They were all winners in my book, and Peter Kay - as well as being a great actor, is also a genius.

I can't get the Winner's Song out of my brain today, I even woke up this morning singing it in my head

Then my husband said he'd been dreaming about Geraldine's Mandela-Umbrella segue all night :roftl: The BGTPFAPANCJCSSSOI vibes were strong in our house last night:cool:

I'll feel a bit sorry for Leon Jackson though:naughty:, if he gets beaten by a joke song in the charts!
