Everybody does their year-end charts at the moment,

so I was wondering what your top tracks of 2008 have been.

Make it a top 10,a top 20 ...whatever you wish,

I'm just curious what songs defined your year,

what songs were stuck in your head :thumb_yello:

Viva la Vida

I was never much into Coldplay, I can honestly say I don't (or rather didn't) know any other songs of them, but when I heard Viva la Vida....

It is such a powerful song with undoubtely a definite meaning (which I haven't discovered yet).

It is on my MP3 now, right after LICM.

Hmm...

All songs by the Palladium guys, even though they didn't get to release the album - of which I have a promo copy, my precious! :mf_lustslow:

Holes by The Midway State. Not the title song alone - the whole album! :naughty:

Erm... All five Rufus Wainwright's studio albums. I got them in January.

Mika hasn't been such a big part in my life this year although I saw him three times in Feb. But I haven't gotten anything new from him this year, so that's why. Then again Love Today is always stuck in my head so I say that one. :punk:

One song by Toto in particular: Africa. I've heard it so many times this year and it brought back good memories from the past. :thumb_yello:

Everything Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum sang in The Phantom of the Opera. :wub2:

Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd. ;)

The original score from the Disney film Beauty and the Beast.

Three names dominated my musical life in 2008: Sara Bareilles, Chris Chameleon and Vienna Teng. Needless to say that it's mainly their tracks I've been playing over and over and over and over.

My most played track this year (according to Last.fm) is Vienna Teng - The Tower (now that song is addictive - and it's not even new, it's from 2002). Guess I will be back later with my 2008 single/track 'chart'. :wink2:
