It doesn't matter to me, anyway. 1/2 of the time, if you make an exact translation, it doesn't make any sense. especially sayings, proverbs etc... perfect example, a longgggg time ago (when i was not so fluent in english) i wanted to say to my husband "i have a bone to pick with you" but instead, i translated word for word the french expression and said "i have a tooth to pick with you" which he has never let me live it down. it still teases me with that from time to time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
