MIKAmadRosie1996
what are your thoughts and opinions on the new album name? (sorry if there is already a thread like this)
Marilyn Mastin
Yes I'm glad really, because after the title 'Life In cartoon Motion' for the first album, I thought it was strange that he named the 2nd on after a song. 'We Are Golden' would have been okay. But I think 'The Boy Who Knew too Much' is just right for the teenage sophmore album. It goes with the theme and the songs kind-of tell the story of this troubled and quite obsessive boy, of the title.

Mika4Life13
I think both names are weird, tbh.
inbar_assaf
If We Are Golden wasnt a name of one of the tracks, it wouldve made a brilliant title- goes very well with the teenage theme, I guess thats why Mika chose it for the track too- as its all about teens... BUT!!! TBWKTM is a brilliant title nonetheless- and does too go perfect with the teenage theme... even if not more so... Bravo Mika... on everything really... keti
YES!! I am glad Mika changed the album name. I was rather suprised when I heard that he'd named it "We Are Golden". But now, with this new title which is splendid (especially because he named it after Hitchcock's movie, with whom I'm in love:wub2:), the album itself is complete! findingmywords
I actually would have liked it better if he really did have a name that relates to monsters! I don't like the new name that much, I would've liked 'We are Golden' better I think
iadoremika
For some reason, I've never been fond of an album title that has a song on it with the same name. So I like this new title better.
daydreambeliever
I remember thinking it was weird how he named it "We Are Golden" after he said in one interview that he didn't want to name the first album something boring like "Love Today" like his people wanted him to. All in all, I like "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" better. Edited September 21, 2009 by daydreambeliever
CalicoSkies
I think the title he came up worked out well. I always like Albumn titles to be a bit catchy and The Boy Who Knew Too Much certainly is.
lollipop_monkey
Absolutely. Naming the album after the first single is lame, lame, lame. I knew Mika was too cool for that.
Becky
I was very disappointed when I found out it was 'We Are Golden'. I was a bit like... Nyeh. Nice, but unimaginative, naming an album after a song. It could have induced a few more sales, but... So I was very happy when he changed it. I much prefer TBWKTM, even if it is a bitof a mouthful
MIKA_OBESSED
I wasn't crazy about the new album name, but I decided I do like it better than We Are Golden.
haru
I liked We Are Golden, but I like TBWKTM much better.TBWKTM is a perfect name for an album that came after LICM! I was also happy to learn that Mika likes Hitchcock, one of my favorite movie directors
wasabi_tea
I much prefer 'The Boy Who Knew Too Much' over 'We Are Golden' for the album's title, as I think the former sums up the album's general theme much better than the latter. sparkly1
HELL YEAH it's soo much better than naming it after the 1st single, I also like it cos it's got the same... rhythm to it as LICM (forget what it's called yet I should know since I attempt to write poetry now n then lol).
