He talked to Fearne about his outfit, his adventures on the New York subway and about Pixie Lott's previous job as one of his Lollipop girls. On to the live lounge and first up he performed an acoustic version of 'We Are Golden' before going on to cover his good friend Lady Gaga's track 'Poker Face'. Kodes100 Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Well they were talking before he went off to Maida Vale to do the session, Chris was moaning about it, as he was waiting for Mika to have the photo taken with him, so it's possible she realised he's not like what she thought.But I'll reserve my judgement and see what she says about him in the future. As abrasive as Chris is sometimes, at least he doesn't pull his punches and he says how he feels about someone. And he seems to have warmed to him. Thank you RAK1! I love that Fearne asked him was he at all embarrassed filming the scenes in his boxers for We Are Golden, coz I did wonder about that - and I'm amazed he said that it seems weird coz he's actually prudish - Mika?? I quite like Same Jeans but I don't think there are any other covers that I regularly listen. Ohhh but I do love his I Want You Back and Sweet Dreams. Absolutely agree with you on this, I'm totally smitten with his cover of that song . So much so, that when I hear it I have to remind myself that it's a Jackson's song originally and NOT a Mika song - that's high praise from me as I love the Jackson's stuff, but he seems to have made the song his own (at least for me anyway!). I grew up in Montana and live in Washington. Both states are logging country.
