Can't do it atm, I don't have any programs that can do it and I gotta go to work. And this week, he gave that star to our very own Mika!!! Well done!!! Hier soir à Tout le monde en parle, le charme de la vedette internationale a opéré. Un charme timide, simple, naïf, modeste, presque enfantin, certainement contagieux. Mais un charme solide! Mi-libanais, mi-américain, il parle parfaitement le français, et connaît autant C.R.A.Z.Y. que L’histoire de Pi. En admiration devant lui, l’auteur français Frédéric Beigbeder l’a comparé à Brian Wilson des Beach Boys, pour ses mélodies joyeuses et accrocheuses. Mika a parlé de son admiration pour Hitchcock et pour Grace Kelly, dont lui parlait sa grand-mère. Sur son orientation sexuelle, il se dit encore «pas fixé», même s’il affirme avoir été harcelé à l’école au début de l’adolescence. Belle soirée hier, entreprise avec le nouveau propriétaire du Canadien, Geoffrey Molson, qui est resté jusqu’à la toute fin de l’émission. Dans une rare apparition à la télé, M. Molson s’est montré tout sauf arrogant. Ce francophile, dont les quatre enfants fréquentent l’école en français, a pris un réel plaisir à l’entrevue, malgré les nombreuses plaisanteries de bière que lui ont servies l’animateur et son fou du roi. Guy A. lui a notamment demandé s’il s’était rendu au fameux Manoir Coors Light, «un château avec plein de filles cochonnes en bikini». Le manoir existe bel et bien, mais M. Geoffrey Molson s’est dit agréablement surpris de l’engouement des Québécois pour sa famille au moment de l’achat du Canadien, et malgré l’intention de Quebecor d’acquérir l’équipe. Même si la compagnie a aussi un siège social à Denver, «on fait beaucoup au Canada et au Québec pour maintenir notre culture Molson», dit-il. «Cherche-z-y en pas de défauts, yé parfait!», a lancé Dany Turcotte à Guy A. Lepage en fin d’entrevue. L’auteure de La galère, Renée-Claude Brazeau, a rarement eu l’air aussi serein. L’auteure, qui a eu quatre enfants de quatre pères différents, à côté de Geoffrey Molson qui a eu quatre enfants de la même femme, dit avoir trouvé une situation amoureuse idéale: un chum à Paris, «la meilleure façon» pour elle de ne pas voir s’installer la routine. Renée-Claude Brazeau avoue avoir passé neuf ans de sa vie en peine d’amour. La mère s’améliore, elle dont l’aîné était un parfait enfant roi. Quand l’animateur lui a demandé si elle avait été frappée par son enfant, comme Stéphanie dans La galère, l’auteure a répondu oui, avant de dire non. Dure question, réponse fragile. Autre entrevue réjouissante que celle de Frédéric Beigbeder, un Français parfaitement intégré aux Québécois hier soir. Trouvé coupable d’avoir sniffé de la cocaïne sur le capot d’une voiture, l’auteur a passé 36 heures en détention, qui lui ont été très salutaires. L’homme qui consomme quand il s’ennuie croit néanmoins qu’il n’a pas commis un crime grave. Il fallait voir le tombeur perdre ses moyens à côté de l’ex-mannequin Claudia Barilà, la conjointe de Guy Laliberté, qui portait du «cuir végétarien» hier soir. Vivre avec Guy Laliberté, ça change pas l’monde. En tout cas, pas pour Claudia Barilà, qui ne l’aime pas pour son argent, dit-elle. Durant son séjour dans l’espace, elle a quand même consenti à lui parler chaque jour au téléphone à 3000$ la minute. Guy Laliberté ne croit pas au mariage, et Mme Barilà vit très bien avec ça. On a compris que si tout se termine un jour, chacun reprend son chemin, et «c’est pas remboursable». La bio non autorisée de Ian Halperin, dont elle n’a lu que cinq pages? Niaiseux, des mensonges, et mal écrit, selon elle. Yann Martel est venu parler de la fable qu’il a écrite pour le spectacle De la Terre aux étoiles pour l’eau. Il a bien sûr été question du désistement de Claude Péloquin, qui n’a pas voulu se défaire de ses droits, mais ni M. Martel, ni Mme Barilà n’ont pu donner plus de détails sur la mésentente. On en saura peut-être plus à la visite de Guy Laliberté en studio, confirmée pour le début novembre. L’auteur de L’histoire de Pi était sorti outré d’une cérémonie célébrant le 50e anniversaire du Conseil des Arts du Canada, où les artistes avaient été presque ignorés «comme un groupe d’enfants». Depuis, il envoie toutes les deux semaines un livre à Stephen Harper, accompagné d’une lettre, pour l’éduquer, en quelque sorte.
