Shikutukumimika
I know, RL is keeping me very busy haha, but I do lurk in here and the art thread, looking at your guys' wonderful work. All of it looks so good. I need to do some more mika art...I do have a color step by step that I did for one of my drawings a while ago that I was going to post in here but never did for some reason If you ever want to see it, I can post it. Post it please!

ilseh1983
wow, Cherol your drawing is amazing i love it so much :wub2: you're so very talented, you're one of the people i look up too, and when i draw myself i always think by myself "i hope one day i can be half as good as them"
Cherol
I changed my mind about the shoulder lines being so dark Then it's done, I just added the finishing touches, halo/glow, and my signature and then: The end. EDIT: I forgot to add that when you do use color, with skin tones especially, you have to use a bunch of different colors to make it look fairly realistic. I think I used about ten colors for Mika's skin alone in this one.

Cherol
OMG, OMG! So pretty! But do you copy those outlines or draw them yourself? Thanks! I usually start the drawing on a piece of newsprint paper, and there I draw the whole head, and then when I have all the prpotions I want down, I transfer the basic lines to drawing paper so that I have a clean slate without a ton of eraser marks and pencil lines.
