:bye: I know, RL is keeping me very busy haha, but I do lurk in here and the art thread, looking at your guys' wonderful work. All of it looks so good. :wub2: I need to do some more mika art...I do have a color step by step that I did for one of my drawings a while ago that I was going to post in here but never did for some reason :aah:

If you ever want to see it, I can post it. :naughty:

:huglove:

Post it please! :biggrin2:

I changed my mind about the shoulder lines being so dark :naughty:

Then it's done, I just added the finishing touches, halo/glow, and my signature and then:

The end. :)

EDIT: I forgot to add that when you do use color, with skin tones especially, you have to use a bunch of different colors to make it look fairly realistic. I think I used about ten colors for Mika's skin alone in this one. :naughty:

OMG, OMG! So pretty!

But do you copy those outlines or draw them yourself?

Thanks!

I usually start the drawing on a piece of newsprint paper, and there I draw the whole head, and then when I have all the prpotions I want down, I transfer the basic lines to drawing paper so that I have a clean slate without a ton of eraser marks and pencil lines. :naughty:

You should take another piece of paper, tape that one on the one with your raster against the

window, and then.. :wink2:
