I have another suggestion. He could call her Belle, just like in the old Belgian show, Belle and Sebastian. crazyaboutmika Posted August 3, 2010 Share Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) I thought Coquine was a cute name too as I was looking at a young golden labrador at the beach around today and she kept putting her paws on her young master's and I fancied Mika's pup would do the same! Coquine means naughty! Please, can you add both Coquine and Naughty to the list of names? And also Sunshine, Sunlight and Cutie:) I'm so excited too and I keep on finding names like my brain is working on it all the time! I can't stop! We would be so proud if Mika liked and picked one of the names of our list for his pup! I can't wait to see a pic of those two together! Alice is one of his "song writing names" - he said if he had a son he would call him Alice. Maybe it was mentioned previously in this thread. I like Bella (Twilight). I hope for the puppy's safety he uses a crate when he leaves the dog alone. Puppy's can get into everything and they need to be confined when left alone. Many years ago I sold a puppy to a family - the puppy accidentally hung himself with a long rope he was tied up with. Serious dog breeders should recommend a crate of some type for safety and it is the best way to house break a puppy. From crate to outside - all the time!!! Dogs usually will not mess in their own confined area at least not more than once. Crate should be small at first and then larger as puppy grows. It will also make it easier if he should have to leave dog with anyone else - saves lots of carpets, headaches and crying over accidents. Sorry to lecture - but this is a HUGE must for Mika - it is easier to love a less destructive puppy - and all puppies can be destructive. Mika trust me on this one - makes life so much easier.
