Sobre un escenario lleno de color y estética, el nuevo icono del pop internacional convirtió su recital en un delirio desatado. Saltó, corrió y bailó desde que se presentó con máxima puntualidad. Con un castellano más que correcto, enganchó a un público absolutamente entregado desde el primer minuto. A pesar de su aparente espontaneidad, Mika no deja nada en manos de la improvisación y alrededor de su voz ha conseguido un grupo excepcional que completa una puesta en escena única. 'Relax, take it easy', su canción más conocida y con la que alcanzó la fama, abrió y cerró el concierto. Fue el mejor exponente de su música, un referente para conocer la impresionante gama vocal que le ha llevado a ser comparado con el inolvidable Freddy Mercury. Pero sobre el escenario, el espectáculo de Mika se parece más al dinamismo de Mike Jagger que al del líder de Queen. Tumbado en el suelo, brincando o recorriendo todos los metros que le deja el atrezzo, el artista recordó al Coque Malla que se vació con Los Ronaldos en el mismo auditorio de Castrelos hace ya más de dos décadas. Penniman reúne todos los ingredientes necesarios para un directo y a ello le suma su complicidad con el público. Cercano y simpático, el cantante estuvo en permanente contacto y diálogo con unos espectadores que también se volcaron. Mika pidió perdón por adelantado por su mal español y reiteró sus disculpas antes de cerrar el recital, pero lo cierto es que no tuvo ningún problema para conectar con el público. "Esta noche ha sido increíble y estoy seguro de que cambiará nuestras vidas", señaló tras los bises. Bandera de España La entrada fue apoteósica y el ritmo ya no bajó hasta casi la una de la madrugada. Con una bandera de España, demostró su facilidad para entenderse. No faltaron los clásicos de su repertorio como 'Grace Kelly' y canciones de su último disco como 'Kick Ass', 'We are golden', 'Rain', 'Any other world' o 'Lolillop'. Con constantes guiños al respetable, también demostró su capacidad para alternar vestuario y hasta en tres ocasiones cambió su indumentaria. Chaqueta, chaleco, camiseta a rayas o de blanco integral, Mika lució sombrero de copa negro durante gran parte de la noche. Toreó, simuló una marcha nupcial y facilitó que sus estribillos fuesen coreados desde la zona de pago, abarrotada por las 4.000 personas que agotaron las entradas, hasta las gradas donde los espectadores se apiñaban contra los muros del Pazo Quiñones de León. El escenario, flanqueado por dos grandes pantallas que permitían al público más alejado seguir el concierto, fue un verdadero show y un descomunal payaso cubría el fondo por detrás de grandes letras con el nombre del artista. Alrededor de su figura, numerosos títeres para complementar una extraordinaria voz nacida en el Royal Opera House de Londres, donde empezó siendo un niño como soprano y acabó marcando sus influencias pop e indie. Un guiño a Eurythmics Mika no defraudó tampoco en el tramo final. Más allá de venirse abajo o relajar su voz, se atrevió con una versión de Eurythmics. Fue el primer bis de la noche y el libanés bordó el 'Sweet dreams' de Annie Lennox, antes de repetir con 'Lolillop' y provocar el delirio total con 'Relax'. Aseguraba el cantante que recordaría durante mucho tiempo el concierto vigués y lo cierto es que tampoco Castrelos olvidará el paso del torbellino Mika.
