Comme l'amphithéâtre romain, l'émission créée en 2004 par Anne Marcassus traverse les âges jusqu'à devenir l'un des rares événements musicaux récurrents du paysage audiovisuel français. D'abord enregistrée en région parisienne, dans des studios de La Plaine Saint-Denis, « La chanson de l'année » a pris une autre dimension en passant en live en 2015 dans les Arènes de Nîmes en marge de la Fête de la musique. Nîmes, Chambord, Toulon... Comment est choisi le lieu de tournage ? « C'est la plus belle salle de concert à ciel ouvert », nous a confié Mathieu Vergne au sujet des Arènes de Nîmes. Choisi entre 2015 et 2019 pour accueillir « La chanson de l'année », le site historique niché en plein cœur de la ville gardoise n'avait pas été reconduit en 2020. « Nous avions décidé de changer de lieu, après cinq éditions consécutives à Nîmes, pour proposer un autre décor aux téléspectateurs, nous a raconté le président de DMLS TV. Nous devions aller Place du Capitole à Toulouse mais, à cause du Covid, nous avions organisé en deux semaines, au dernier moment, notre concert Jardin du Palais Royal à Paris. Le lieu était à la fois sécurisé au niveau sanitaire et joli à filmer sans public. » En 2021, la production expérimente le château de Chambord puis, l'année suivante, Toulon en bord de mer. « Après ces années de changement, nous avions une volonté commune, avec TF1, de revenir dans les Arènes de Nîmes parce que c'est un lieu magique visuellement et intimement lié à l'émission. » La 19e édition de « La chanson de l'année » vient se glisser, dans l'agenda des événements du site, entre la Feria de Pentecôte et le Festival de Nîmes, soit une fenêtre de tir de quelques jours pour tout installer. « La seule date possible était le 17 juin. » L'énorme barnum de « La chanson de l'année » Techniquement comme humainement, le dispositif de « La chanson de l'année » nécessite d'importantes ressources. « Entre la lumière, le son, la logistique, les décors, les écrans et la réalisation, nous faisons travailler plus de 200 personnes, explique Mathieu Vergne. À cela s'ajoutent 200 personnes qui accompagnent les artistes. Donc c'est une grosse organisation pour gérer les déplacements, l'hébergement, la restauration et les sites d'accueil aux abords des arènes. » Pour chaque artiste en compétition, un travail est réalisé en amont avec la maison de disques pour décider de la mise en scène. Dans les tribunes, 10.000 places ont été distribuées gratuitement pour cette soirée animée par Nikos Aliagas. « Avec mon associée, Anne Marcassus, nous sommes fiers de pouvoir compter sur des équipes très efficaces qui connaissent parfaitement leur travail. Notre rôle est de contribuer à la fabrication de l'écrin, avec la collaboration de la ville, et de valider chaque étape importante. Chez DMLS TV, nous sommes la maison des artistes, il y a une dimension relationnelle importante pour être auprès d'eux et à leur écoute. » Surprises et nouveautés : que réserve l'édition 2023 de « La chanson de l'année » ? En plus de la récompense principale de la chanson de l'année 2023 attribuée en fin d'émission à un des artistes en compétition grâce aux votes des téléspectateurs, deux autres prix seront remis : celui du titre le plus streamé et celui du coup de cœur de « La chanson de l'année ». « Parmi les surprises, deux artistes hors compétition vont faire un medley autour de leur carrière, nous révèle Mathieu Vergne. Il s'agit de Christophe Maé et de Vitaa. Nous aurons la promotion de “Star Academy” qui chantera l'hymne de la dernière saison, Ne partez pas sans moi. Léa, Louis et la gagnante Anisha chanteront, chacun leur tour, leur nouveau single. Dans les nouveautés, nous aurons une émission de seconde partie de soirée, toujours en direct, “Les chansons de l'été” avec nos coups de cœur artistiques comme Aden Foyer, Mentissa, la troupe de Molière l'Opéra Urbain ou encore Pascal Obispo en duo avec Giordana Angi. » Comment sont choisies les chansons en compétition ? « La sélection est réalisée, à quelques exceptions près, à partir des passages à la radio entre septembre et mai, souligne Mathieu Vergne. Avec TF1, nous avons estimé que l'exposition radio d'un titre était le critère le plus représentatif. La décision des chansons en compétition est prise en accord avec la chaîne. Beaucoup d'artistes ont envie de participer à l'émission, c'est flatteur. » Les titres de l'édition 2023 ont été classés par ordre alphabétique de nom des chansons. À titre indicatif, sur YouTube, c'est le clip d’In the stars de Benson Boone qui a été le plus visionné avec 45 millions de vues en un an. But as Nikos was talking with other artists after their performances I was expecting the same with Mika and Vianney. But it didn't happen. So maybe this part was pre-recorded? I don't know. I saw on twitter that last night he took some photos with fans outside the arena. It seems strange to me that they rehearsed yesterday and not today and the part that tf1 posted on Ig as rehearsal is not credible because he wore already the scene suit and had perfect hair, while usually during rehearsal he is casually dressed and he wears a cap. And then there is the story at the station. If he was sleeping outside Nimes the production would have accompanied him to the venue by car, I doubt they would have let him take a train on his own. I'm quite sure it was pre-recorded the night before (as they often do with him in France when he has other things to do), they only showed either the stage or the audience, never both together, and also in wider shots of the stage you can see some people's heads 'used' to create an audience but it's clear that it's not yesterday's audience + in a TF1 ig story there is only Vianney together with other artists 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
