Can't believe it. I work at the Teatro della Pergola as a student. I'm kinda shocked, I didn't even know about this interview. Oh gosh.

Premesso che il messaggio che ho postato è stato frutto di ampie discussioni all'interno del fandom, non ne avete colto il messaggio. Quello che stiamo cercando di far notare è che purtroppo quando il MFC organizza questi contest, le facce che entrano sono sempre le stesse. E nessuno dica che non è vero, ci sono le foto di persone che sono andate a TUTTE le registrazioni di Stasera Casa Mika, ad ENTRAMBI i sinfonici (con posti in prima fila) ecc. ecc. Vogliamo solo farvi aprire gli occhi su questa cosa, non è una scenata di gelosia fata da bambine sclerotiche. Stiamo cercando di discutere e di chiarirci da persone mature quali siamo. E vorremmo anche che alcuni atteggiamenti spiacevoli cessassero. Il rispetto deve esserci in entrambe le direzioni.

Non è vedere il lato negativo delle cose, è vedere la realtà, perché i volti sono sempre gli stessi. Comunque, era un discorso generale, non fossilizzato sui 50 posti per Milano. Ambasciator non porta pena!

Purtroppo mi dispiace dirti che ci sono persone (e quelle persone intendano) che sono andate a tutte, e sottolineo tutte, le registrazioni. Secondo la funzione logica di implicazione: soldi->eventi->ancora eventi->MFC->ancora più eventi->posto nella "cerchia degli eletti".

Non nego che queste parole mi abbiano provocato una stretta al cuore, ma Mika ha ragione. Dal nostro punto di vista può sembrare semplice, ma stare lontano tutto l'anno da famiglia e fidanzato dev'essere orribile... Per quanto si ami il proprio lavoro. L'unica cosa che posso dire è che, almeno per me, l'importante è che sia felice. Se lui è felice lo sono anch'io, dopo tutto quello che ha fatto e fa per noi sarebbe assurdo e molto egoista anteporre la nostra felicità alla sua. In ogni caso so che quando il giorno arriverà sarà un colpo al cuore per tutti noi... Per ora posso constatare di avere l'immensa fortuna di avere un Good Guy così gentile, sensibile e altruista. Well, there are several. But if I have to choose, I'll choose three. The first one is Hurts: when I listen to this song I always feel like I have a friend by my side telling me that everything's alright, no matter what people say. Then there is Last Party, which is about my other hero Freddie Mercury and his legendary three-days party. To me Freddie has been the incarnation of courage, a really amazing man. Then the last song is Origin Of Love. It reminds me what love is and how to deal with it. It also taught me to erase any prejudice about people's sexuality and I'll be forever grateful to Mika for this.

I definitely agree with you: I've watched every single season of The Voice France from Italy even when Mika was not coach in order to learn French. The truth is that The Voice is a talent show, so people get to know Mika as a coach and not as a singer. It was a good idea to do it, but I agree with his decision to take a break (as he's done with X Factor Italia). Maybe he will have more time to do shows and promos with the upcoming album... Who knows. Still in our countries he is rather well known and there are awsome communities, so I feel very lucky indeed.

Well hi everyone. I'm from Italy and of course I noticed (as everbybody else did) that Mika's career is now focusing mainly in my country. I really appreciate that as he does many gigs and events here but I would also like if he could gain in popularity in the other countries. I don't want him to become a worldwide popstar like Adele or Ed Sheeran (let's make it clear: I really like them). From my point of view he is different from all the other singers around: he is not part of the great sensations of the moment and on the other hand we can easily see that he is known almost everywhere, only because of LICM. I think he should invest something to give the US, Canada and the UK another try. He is well known in France, Italy and Pacific Asia, so if he succeded in the US, Canada and the UK his career would take off once again. I really hope he has plans to do it, but if the price is losing his unique features... He shouldn't do that in my opinion.

I'll be in Florence too!

Hi! I'm Italian too. I'm from Florence, Tuscany. I've been a Mikafan since... Well, it's quite hard to explain. I've always listened to Happy Ending. But I was too young to know something about the singer. Then one day I turned on the TV on a random channel. There was Xf8. I've been immediately enchanted by this curly-haired, tall, smiling man. Then he got up. And sang Happy Ending a cappella. And... I understood I would never forget that guy.

Well,I went to Pistoia on the 5th July. I was very close to the stage and it was definitely the best day of my life. It was really unbelievable. I could see him smiling. He smiled at me. Now I'm dreaming of meeting him and talking to him. I guess I'm still in post-concert depression.
