They are not exactly the best!

BUT I promised I would share them with you!

 

Please do not steal the video's, i doubt any of you will!

Nothing will beat the astronaut opening I don't think but I really love this version of Rain and the buildup to his entrance is really good. I still have an emotional attachment to Relax that way but this is very well done.

Yeah I love my camera.... The quality actually gets better the further I zoom! Usually the other way around.

 

The reason I only got the last part of the song is because my memory card was full....and I had to raid through my 16GB memory card trying to find stuff to erase :naughty:

OKAY HERE WE GO!!!

 

MIKA, 25th February 2010.

 

Okay, I arrived at the venue at 3.30 exactly, Me and my friend Hannah were about 10th so we were extremely happy! We ended up talking and made some friends in the cue including Kitty, Rob, Sophee etc all so lovely and all so as talkative as I am, which was nice .

Of course the entire time I was on a complete and utter hype, I kept looking around, kept looking at my phone for the time the anxiety of it was too much to bare! I was like come on, I want to get inside and I want him to come on stage! We all ended up staying together as a group and all had a right good laugh getting to know each other. So at around 6.30 people were coming around with wristbands for us to wear saying ’02 Academy MIKA’ which I got extremely excited about. So it came to about 6.50 and the guards were sort of like lets get them. I panicked thinking oh crap, 02 Priority are going to get in before me, completely take the front row and I will be stuck in the middle! But no, the security was sort of like were letting you all in the same time to make it fair, which really made me happy. I ran in and of course the security were constantly like SLOW DOWN PLEASE! I was like Hell nooo, i am getting to the front! And I did! Just off the middle on the audience left/stage right (sooo exciting). So as we get to the front a woman comes up to us and says ‘Well done on getting to the front row!’ I am like EEEP! Thank You!!!! :D

So then the wait begins, our little group were just talking for a while about how excited we were and they asked me the set list, which I knew off my heart LOL. I then got told by the people around me, I am one of the most devoted Mika fans they have ever met, which made me blush, ah-ha. The time flew by eventually and before I knew it Erik Hassle was on! I was really impressed If I am honest, and I loved listening to his set, I am seriously going to buy his album! I have been rather impressed with both people I have seen support Mika now, Palladium=Amazing & Erik Hassle = AMAZING. SO it was all good.

When he came off all the people in the stripped jumpsuits appeared on stage and I couldn’t keep my eyes off them watching what they were doing, this is where the excitement really kicked in. At around 9pm the music stopped, the crowd went wild and a man ran on in a school uniform with a desk and a table already placed out of him. He begins to draw and then the black sheet fell. My heart at this point was going so fast I could hardly breathe. The whole writing on the back wall of his name and the doodle really was amazing, but I didn’t really pay much attention if I am honest because I just kept looking absolutely everywhere on stage to see where he was going to enter. Then out of the blue he came running on from a mist of smoke. My eyes lit up and my heart oh my gosh, the feeling was indescribable, I was seeing my inspiration again, in the flesh, in front of my eyes, it was unbelievable.

I did like the Rain remix start to be fair and I love the whole suitcase thing and he looked absolutely stunning! I couldn’t find myself not looking at his beautiful face. I can just remember the first time he came on to our side of the stage, I was waving my banner practically in his face as if to say PLEASE LOOK AT IT PLEASE! I had spent 3 hours making it, and I was determined he was going to see my banner. Luckily throughout the gig, I got full on eye contact with him at least 20 times no word of a lie and he kept on looking at my banner which I loved. The people behind me tapped me on my shoulder and said “do you know him” I was like No why? They then went on to say “well he keeps looking at you and smiling at you and stuff” I was like EEEP! I can’t believe this, ah-ha!

So the concert went on and I got way over excited over songs including I See You, Blue Eyes, and Relax! Which I did end up recording due to my absolute love for the songs! And his dance moves during Blue Eyes! Oh MY! Any of you, who were there, I am sure you will agree with me here and say HOW SEXY DID HE LOOK! Oh my, I thought I was going to pass out or something! I see you, was purely beautiful to watch, I am forever listening to that song because it really does cry out to me, so to see him perform in live, in such a beautiful way brought tears to my eyes it really did.

I will not go into detail over every song, because I will feel myself rambling. But I will say this We Are Golden live was incredible! The crowd really were amazing! And another part I will mention is where he got us all to jump frantically all which I have video’s of! When it came to the end of we are golden of cause us fans had not had enough and our side were straight away chanting for MIKA MIKA MIKA MIKA, when it stopped for a second, Me, Hannah & Kitty started it again, I wasn’t going to let him get away that easy, within seconds the entire crowd were chanting it again! He then came out in a dashing white blazer and the smile on his face was irresistible and infectious, causing everyone to smile back. He then went on to explain all about his dream which was incredibly cute, even though he said we shouldn’t AWW! We all could not help ourselves, and when the puppet came out oh, we all went mental. He then said how that night was special to them which made me gleam with delight it really did. And oh my goodness how he made me laugh mentioning how they are idiots for designing the arena in exactly the same way and how he said ‘this one smells alot cleaner than the other one’ made me smile and laugh so much he said it, in the most innocent yet carcastic way possible, I can just remember the security guards face, LOL, what a picture, It was like ‘AS IF HE JUST SAID THAT’.

The end of the concert happened, I had water in my eyes at the fact it was finishing. I was covered in gold from the cannons which I loved and I put all in a bag when I got home and I now have 150 of the things, I wasn’t lying I was covered! I brought my merchandise (The white shirt and the poster) and then RAN outside to the stage door! While waiting I met mikafish off MFC who was lovely and was happy to talk to us (THANK YOU). He came out around 30 minutes later and signed everyone’s things which was lovely. It came to me meeting him and some girl pushed me out of the way so she could get there first. I was soo annoyed. He then went to leave, everyone was happy that they had there things signed but I ran up to him MIKA PLEASEE SIGN THIS (my banner) he looked at it, smiled and said of course. He looked at it and said he really liked it, behind me I heard a girl say “wow that’s amazing, I wish I thought of that” he then looked at the pictures I had chosen and smiled and pointed at them. He then had to go I thanked him profusely and he said no Thank you. As he got in his white car all of us fans just watched on at him leaving, watching our hero drive away after the most amazing gigs of our lives! This really was the best night of my life! There is not one thing I would change! (apart from we got a balloon all the way home and it popped as we got to Hannah’s door!  Gutting!).
