yeah Shepherds Bush sold out pretty much immediately, HOWEVER if you check sites like http://www.scarletmist.com or http://www.gumtree.com you might find some, or someone with a spare perhaps, and they've released more tickets for his Glasgow date so I don't know if they might for Shepherds Bush, it's unlikely but... persistence...

I love that, I've always wanted to own a basement flat and paint the railings some sort of technicolour monstrosity, possibly with outside fairy lights and so on, just make a big old camp mess, and watch my neighbours walking past tutting... anyway, that wasn't really relevant to anything at all was it, sorry!!!! I don't really know very much interesting about Mika, alas, I have little to contribute... erm. no I can't think of anything. I am a bad fan.

yes yes yes JE CONCOURS... the press expect celeb-types to be candid about everything and then they go and take their quotes entirely out of context and wonder why they end up just saying nothing and not doing interviews. I feel entirely rotten for him!

curly hair is notoriously unreliable and unpredictable. the wrong way of sleeping on it, the wrong way of washing it, if it dries itself the wrong way... SHAZAAM you look like a furry creature died on your head. I, for one, am glad he needs curling tongs sometimes, it makes me feel better for the days my hair just looks like a big ol mess, with emphasis on the big, and I was ready to kill him for having hair that looked that curly and still that pretty naturally all the time. not that I'm a horrible shallow person or anything...but now he can carry on living.

when did they first come out... like 10 years ago??? I remember I had an original one when they first came out... I wonder if it's still lurking in a drawer somewhere. when I was working on a summer playscheme a couple of years ago I had to confiscate SO MANY Tamagotchis because people were getting into fights over them it was unbelievable.

I LOVE the Dixie Cups version of Iko Iko. don't you think the drumsticks on the ashtrays (did he tell that story? have you heard that story? is it even true? I'm not sure but I like it anyway) sound a bit like the spoon orchestra on Lollipop? the trouble is on my computer I can't seem to fast forward the listen again thingy on the BBC so I actually have to potentially listen to all 2 1/2 hours of Ken Bruce's show to hear this... wowzer.
