  1. leaving aside the embarassing mick jagger comment i made earlier(don't ask), it makes me really proud to see mika is getting the kind of credit i believe he deserves(and it's further proof it's not all in my head)! go mika! shock shock them!
  2. why oh why don't i ever take the time to read the full article? *puts on stupid helmet* pretend u never read that
  3. sorry to hear about the books, but hopefully you'll find them after all*fingers-crossed* either way, have fun learning guitar! teaching myself guitar might just be the best thing i've ever done and i cant imagine my life without it. you're gonna have loads of fun guaranteed;) one tip i can give is to practise at least a little bit every day, go through the songs you've learned, this way your fingers won't have time to heal cause if they do and you start playing again it will hurt just as much as it did when you started. as they say no pain no gain!
  4. HI! glad to see i'm not the only romanian round here! and, being a great queen fan myself, had the same reaction when i first heard grace kelly. i just couldn't believe how talented and magnetic and freddie-ish mika is, only it didn't take me long to realise that it wasn't the fact that he was so much like freddie that i loved about mika, but the fact that he was so much like mika! hope you have a great time here!
  5. wow, this is actually turning out nice! great job guys! it's so funny and it almost makes sense. doesnt rhyme too much though, but that can't be too much of a problem; it would have been hard if not impossible to make it rhyme anyway(don't mind me,i'm an hopeless perfectionist )! keep up the good work!
  6. I knew you'd make it somehow! so happy for you! have the time of your life!
  7. well, with the risk of being irrelevant, i'd ask him two questions that i always ask people and usually get really interesting answers first is: what is the first thing that pops up in your head when you hear the word happiness? it can be an image, a moment, a song, anything(and if that's too personal to tell, then the first thing that comes to mind that isnt too personal to tell;)) and the second: if you were an animal, what animal would you be? (cause my wacky brain keeps associating people with different animals that sometimes seem to have no connection to that person) thanx

    Hello!

well, click on account from the bar at the top of the page, and in the new window you'll find a list of options on the left and there you have edit avatar. click on that and they guide you through the thing there. you can either pick one of the avatars the site provides or upload your own pic. hope this helps:thumb_yello:
  9. there must be somethin u can do! i say go there and make the most adorable puppy face you can muster up and if even then they don't let you in, beg, cry, make a scene, do something to get noticed and maybe mika will spot you and you'll get to meet him that way...you could bring some lollipops too...that might help i don't know...they tend to be more organised in western countries than back here, but i think if there's a big crowd there is always a possibility that you could just sneak in unnoticed or that they might feel sorry for you and let you in...i dunno...i have a feeling you'll make it somehow...good luck on that one!
  10. i'm drooling as we speak:naughty: that would rock big time:punk:
  11. wow:shocked: mika must have some weird telepathic powers, cause the exact same thing has happened to me. i studied piano for 4 years, but only the traditional sheet music kind and i had to give up because i didnt have a piano and not enough practise meant low grades and i didnt want that, so i put away my keyboard and it has only breefly seen fresh air in 7-8 years. i've always wanted to take up piano again, but i just didnt find that extra push. i did buy an acoustic guitar that has become the most cherished object i own and i'm inches away from giving it a name...oh wait! MIKA, duh...cool, i might name it mika, though i wanted to give it a girl name...anyway...the very first day i heard grace kelly i pulled the broken keyboard out of the closet and used my handyman abilities to fix it up a bit, and i started to play around with mika's songs and slowly i started to see that playing piano can be so much fun and to figure out what chord piano means and i'm taking a course on that over the net as we speak! i'm no good of course, but i came to realise that music really makes me more happy than most everything else that i do everyday, and just being able to say 'i can make my own music' is just incredibly satisfying. and i'm just so thankful to the great man for bringing it all back to me
  12. you don't have to send a photo if you don't have one. i didnt send one either...well, it was a picture of my hands, but anyway, point is you can improvise or not send a picture at all. it would be nice, but if you have no choice, sending a letter without a picture is better than sending nothing at all
  13. well, i think it's a very clever move, him not telling. i mean this way everybody can believe what they want and keep lovin him to bits if they want to and it also raises the controversy which can only be a good thing for sales and exposure :thumb_yello:go on mika, tease away!
  14. well, i've converted all my closest friends who had no idea whatsoever who he was until i gave them the bug and now they're heads over heels too:thumb_yello: . For some reason though, guys get all jealous and go 'this guy is so annoying' when i start yapping about mika, but when they listen to his songs and see vids of him they come around, most of them anyway
  15. Clever move:thumb_yello: ! i would help you put the picture directly on to mika's mispace, but i don't have a myspace page so i don't have any idea how the thing works. anyway, i'm pretty sure mika'll see you daughter's drawing eventually and it's definitely gonna make him go 'awwww'
  16. hey! nice to see your perseverance was rewarded! hope you have a great time here and i'm sure mika will be visiting you aussies in no time( love australia:wink2: , great people, breathtaking landscapes, awesome animals)

    HI!

hi! a full package indeed! and you worked with greg wells?wow, that's pretty big isnt it? maybe we'll be seing you on top of the charts in the near future:wink2: anyhow, great to have you on board!
  18. glad to be of assistance:) and the drawing is so adorable!!
  19. and...uhm...i was thinkin...wouldnt it work out better if we built the song progressively, starting with a given line and then everybody adds a mika line or a bit of a line so that the thing makes sense , because, i dont know, it just seems to me like you're going to end up with a lot of lines that are independant of eachother and make no sense together. just a thought:)
  20. i was going to say 'should i bend over' , but i think i'm gonna go for 'in any other world you could tell the difference'(or 'so human as i am', classic, but a bit too short)
  21. well, i wont see it when it first aires, cause obviously i dont have t4 and mtv is a pretty nasty local version round here, but hopefully they'll run it on vh1 pretty soon - they recommended grace kelly when it came out(i love vh1! it went missing for a couple of days and i was miserable). i'd have liked to have seen it when it first came out, but hey!as long as i see it eventually i can wait:thumb_yello:
  22. well, if it's made in paint then it's in bmp format which takes a lot of space, but you can really easily turn it into jpg format, which takes generally about 20 times less. you must have ACDSee or some similar program for viewing and/or editting images on your computer. you just open the file with this program and click on save as and on the buttom of the window that pops up you should see a little scrolldown menu called 'save as type' and chose jpg, or just type in the name of the file with the extension .jpg .hope you sort it out and make your daughter happy again
  23. i know it's silly, but i'm so proud of him! to have this kind of support and admiration from brian must be the greatest honour imaginable; it seems so to me!
