Don't want to sound like the ultimate heavy here but that stalking stuff is just bad, bad news!!! This is the kind of behavior that ultimately drives celebrities around the bend. Being pursued by papparazzi and frenzied fans does no star any favors. A lot of celebrities have had to take out restraining orders because of fans who are unable to set proper boundaries. In extreme situations, injuries occur or even death (case in point: a young Hollywood actress shot on her doorstep by a delusional fan several years ago). I'm not implying any such thing here in this MFC case, I'm speaking in a general sense. Having your personal space invaded is a violation of one's rights and it is abusive and offensive. Celebrities do forfeit a portion of their privacy because their occupation requires them to prevail in the limelight. But that is no reason for them to surrender their rights and ultimately their safety and well-being.

Oh, I hear you loud and clear! When I did my university degree (Bachelor of Social Work) we had to read 500 pages a week - along with a full load of other subjects plus a practicum (like working one day a week in a community center or a hospital, etc.) My 3rd year was in a community center, 4th year in a hospital. At the time I was married and a stepmother to 5 - yes, count 'em - 5 kids - I used to say 6 - my ex-husband being the 6th kid. He was majorly abusive, I ended up leaving him a few years later. Man! The workload was unbelievable. But y'know, you do what y'gotta do - you'll get through it - not to worry! When you want something badly enough nothing gets in the way of your goals! Hey Look at Mika!

Hey there! I'm currently living in North Vancouver, B.C. You gotta BELIEVE how gorgeous it is out here. And the weather - I'll take the rain over the east's frigid winters and hot, humid summers any day of the week. I know this 'cause I'm originally from Montreal, and as beautiful a city as Montreal is I'd still take Vancouver. It's a helluva lot easier, climate-wise, that is. So where do you live?

Hey Caz, That job sure does sound like fun but ya gotta be smart and look beyond the obvious. You should interview people who do this sort of work and see what THEY REALLY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THEIR JOBS -BEHIND THE SCENES. Things aren't always what they're cracked up to be. You can never have too much information. Granted, Mika would probably be a fabulous employer, but it's all very new and there are also many other players in this endeavor. So let's suppose the project appears above-board, you can always opt to do this part time just to get your feet wet and see how you really like it. No pressure, just make sure you have options and are free to make knowledgable and well-informed choices. But I gotta say, Caz, knowing what I do know about you from this forum - your videos, competitions, bubbly personality, lovely fun extrovert - you are a shoe-in for this type of work - or any position that requires creativity, mingling with people, making them feel welcome, happy, very much at home and have loads of fun, to boot.
