Congratulations Sivan!!! Terrific job! Must be nice to just whip up a couple of designs, then have them approved for production the very next day! Epitome of raw talent! Now you need to design something with "Why Not?" which seems to really personify the Mika Mystique or "Mikaness", if there is such a term in our Mika dictionary. Mika knows no boundaries; he has demonstrated that as a bullied kid in the past and continues to prove this as a rising star playing his music in his own way and on his own terms. So there you go - you have your work cut out for you - if you choose to accept this assignment! You go girl!

Hey Sock - never mind the cover of Rolling Stone - can you imagine our Mika gracing the cover of an issue of GQ??????? Or any other similar publications?!? That would have to catapult the Mikagasm into stratospheres never before witnessed by Humankind !!!!!

Just curious - does anyone know who the woman was that Mika was performing with - I think it was during Happy Ending?? BTW - this is my 100th posting - I guess that makes me a Mika Obsessive now, and no longer a Mika Groupie. Great! More craziness and obsession to look forward to. WELL DONE GUYS! That old Jackson 5 song breathed new life with the Mika touch! Y'know, I don't think there is a cover anywhere, by any artist that wouldn't be done justice by Mika! Besides his incredibly talented voice, he has the most gifted ear!

Hey, I can't believe some of you guys have been recently so sick! - so have I! - can't say it's "something going around", as we're on different continents! My g.i. tract (gastrointestinal) went totally wonky on me, then in the middle of the night I awoke with the MOST GODAWFUL CHEST PAINS - I swear I thought I was having a heart attack!!! But me being stubborn as the day is long and living totally in denial I didn't phone an ambulance and managed to get back to sleep off and on for the rest of the night.. (This was just last night!!!) I feel about 250% better now, even having a coffee, listening to "My Interpretation and talking to you great guys!!! ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE, Guys, WE ARE SURVIVORS!!! JUST LIKE A CERTAIN CURLY-HAIRED CUTIE MUSICIAN WHO BACKS DOWN AT NOTHING!

Is there really ANYTHING about Mika that we DON'T LOVE ??????

I REALLY wish that would happen this summer, although I know his tour schedule is filled up then. But it's so nice here then! There's so much to see and it's really nice at the beaches then. But I guess beggars can't be choosers - we'll take Mika whenever we can get him! Wherabouts in Montreal do you live? Did you see Mika's concert at Club Soda? I heard it was unbelievable! Did I read that you guys were going to his Boston concert? If you are - sooooooo lucky!!! That's my birthday - I wouldn't want to be spending it any other way.....!!!!!

Mika SOOOO has to come to Canada! You guys in Montreal have at least seen him once! We have yet to see him perform ONCE in B.C. I was even prepared to go to Osheaga as I'm from Montreal originally and would do the trip if he wasn't coming here. The irony of the situation is that he's doing more performances in the States than Canada, yet he is 'way more popular up here than in the U.S.!!! Go figger........

I'm so glad we have this thread! We can greet each other and also do some great PR work to get Mika and other MFC folks out here to experience our gorgeous and incredible land! My hometown was Montreal but I moved to Vancouver, B.C. (the Wet Coast) in 1978 and never looked back. For all of you who have never experienced the Pacific Northwest it is simply just the most GORGEOUS scenery you can imagine. Our city is right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, yet we have local mountains where we can ski, etc. It is not uncommon for people to play golf in the morning and alpine ski in the afternoon! I kid you not! People here are so friendly! If you love the outdoors then this is the place to be! Camping, tennis, golf, skiing, snowshoeing, rollerblading, windsurfing..... the list goes on and on.... AND - don't foget the 2010 Winter Olympics coming up! Maybe I should work for Tourism B.C. LOL. But I am doing a bit of plugging here because our lovely Mika hasn't graced us yet with an appearance. Not only that, I really look forward to the day that I can start meeting a lot of you very cool MFC'ers. You guys are really all starting to grow on me, big time! I definitely talk to you guys more than anyone else!!!! Goes without saying - we all have something most magnifique in common, n'est-ce pas????

OUCH!!! That was a particularly nasty review!!! I think she kinda went a little over the top on this one. The expression that keeps coming to my mind is, "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". I have to wonder when the last time was when she released a hot #1 debut CD??? A review is a review is a review - but this was a slam fest! She insulted everyone involved - including us fans! Reviews like this just cannot be taken seriously. Consider the source!!!!!! This person probably pulls the wings off flies for excitement!!!

Thankyou Findingmywords, you are an absolute sweetheart to say that!!!! But isn't that exactly what would totally catapult him over the top and into the cosmos! Ellen and Oprah rule in the States and their endorsement certainly wouldn't hurt! However, I believe Mika could still find fame in his own right - after all, he's a star IN SPITE of all those recording studios that said he wasn't "commercial enough", and other such nonsense. (Simon Cowell should be kicked where the sun don't shine!!!!!) Anyways, I'm extremely jealous of all you lucky guys going to his concerts in June. He is not slated to perform anywhere in Canada anytime. I would've LOVED to be at his show in Boston on June 13th (my birthday). Ain't gonna happen. What's a girl to do...... Just off topic for a moment... Yesterday I dropped off a humongous collage I made of Mika at the framing store. It was quite the endeavor. I'll post a pic when I get it back. That's all, Folks.

So whaddya say, guys, June's tour is just a month away - shall we start planning some PR strategies, kick around some ideas???? June is my birthday month - my wish this year is to see our wonderful Mika get all the positive recognition he deserves!!!! BTW - I have NO DOUBT AT ALL that both Oprah and Ellen will absolutely LOVE LOVE Mika just as much as we do!!!! I mean, what's not to love???

Yah, you got it! And Ellen has this incredible knack for making everyone feel so comfortable - can you just imagine the chemistry just feeding off Mika and Ellen?????? It would be - as Mika would say - TOTALLY DEMENTED !!!! Between the serious exposure on Oprah and the hysterical exposure on Ellen Mika would become a household name EVERYWHERE ON THE PLANET!!! And you guys in the States REALLY REALLY need more exposure. Here in Canada Mika's Grace Kelly single has been in the top 10 songs since it was released a couple of months ago (on i-tunes). In the i-tunes U.S store today Grace Kelly was down at #94. That concerns me!!!! And it should you too!!!!! Luckily he's got that June tour coming up, so it should help. But what I find really funny is that he's already performed 'way more in the U.S. than Canada, but here's more popular here. I can't wrap my head around that one...
