wouldn't it be an interesting outcome if i didn't tell you which song?! well, if i need anything, i'll let you know. and yes, you can record or import more than one audio track in one audacity file... like you can import mika's song, then sing your own vocals in a 2nd track, sing your background vocals in a 3rd, play piano in a 4th, then delete the mika track and save the whole thing in one file (you just need an additional program/file if you wanna save it as mp3). if that's what you mean, then yes, audacity can do that. it's the best freeware i know for audio recording/editing. which one do you use? btw, the dvd thread still exists, i just bumped it! so, um... this year: dvd. next year: cd.

we're not? since when's that? btw, guys you can do your own backing vocals, just record 2 tracks, for example with the freeware audacity (http://www.audacity.de/) except if you have the same problem as me and always get out of tune when you try to sing a 2nd voice to an existing track, lol! so joanna, i might come back to your offer.

agree with you there. i hate it if ppl are lying, and he's so good at it, in the moment where he says it you don't even realize he's lying (if he's talking to you personally... we had that in munich!) and buy it. and only later you start thinking "wait a minute..." and you forgive him cause he did it in such a cute way... but he can't keep on doing that forever! that makes sense in some way... but why don't/didn't you just delete the nasty posts from the thread then? or were there so many nasty posts/was the whole thread nasty?

as i said in one of my posts from last night, you're right, we won't get to a conclusion... but i still think those who want to should be allowed to discuss it. tbh, i think the problem would be if we in fact got to a conclusion! mika doesn't want us to know, so we shouldn't really try to find out. but just stating our opinions is ok i guess. i personally don't think he's gay, but he might as well be. i'm not good at interpreting people's body language/behaviour. actually, i don't wanna know the truth, at least not until he decides to reveal it.

if you mean fans that have met him several times, i'm one of them and no, he certainly says nothing like this to them. those who work for him though, no idea... but i'm sure he doesn't forbid them to talk with fans at all, he can just forbid them to tell certain inside information.

i understood it that way that she wants to know whether mika's friends/ppl he works with are allowed to speak to fans / post on here. and i'd say i think they are, mika's bus driver and perez posted on here too! though i guess that ppl who work with mika have to sign a contract that they keep certain things secret.

yup, i agree to that! he once said in an interview something along the lines of that it'd be the worst thing for him to be boring/predictable. and still he's so predictable to us in some ways, lol!

i'd also say, freedom of speech, well, within reason. but i guess mika doesn't mind others talking bout his personal life, as long as he doesn't have to comment on it. i mean c'mon, there's a thread about his underwear on here, how much worse can it get?! no, seriously, i personally don't see a point in discussing whether he's gay or not, cause no-one knows for sure if he doesn't tell. but everyone has their opinions about it, so why not let ppl discuss it, as long as there's no fight? i also don't see why pix of his family that are on the web anyway shouldn't be posted on here, as long as we're not flooding the forum with those pix. his family appear in public, they don't make a secret about who they are, so where's the problem? if fortuné is between the stage and the barrier during a show, then he can be sure to be on some fan pix automatically. and why can't we discuss mika's unreleased songs? ok he doesn't want them distributed, so of course we shouldn't post links to them. but we all know them anyway, so why not discuss them? where the line has to be drawn though, in my opinion, is to turn up at mika's house or post his address/pix of his house on here. this is an invasion of privacy, cause it affects him personally. i always think, how would i feel about it if i was famous? i couldn't care less about what ppl wrote about me in a forum, as long as it wasn't mean. the press would worry me much more than a forum. but i'd get scared if ppl started turning up at my door, even if they just left sth there. somehow it's fine lines though between what should be allowed to discuss and what not. there are truths that are obvious, like who is mika's family. and there are truths that he wants to hide, like where does he live and is he gay or not - so i think we can discuss it, but the problems start where the fun ends and we really try to find out the truth, like if someone goes searching for his house or stalks him/his friends to find out whether he's gay. if i knew his address or whether he was gay, i certainly wouldn't post this info here, cause i know he wouldn't want it to be public. so probably this is why those topics are forbidden on here in the first place, to prevent that someone who really knows the truth might post it. and this in fact makes sense. so what's my conclusion? um, i don't know.

wasn't there a thread about this already somewhere? yeah, it's a strange place for an earring, i guess he might have pierced it himself. i really don't understand why someone might want to do this, but i also know a guy who did it when he was a teenager, pierced both his ears with a hot needle. some sort of test of courage, pfft! kids, don't try this at home.
