Was reading about The Voice earlier (this article about Mika being the most popular of the coaches http://www.chartsinfrance.net/actualite/news-90968.html) and I couldn't help but start thinking again about what a brilliant job he's doing at this show. These past three weeks I've been so impressed by the song choices! From classics like Aznavour and Bowie to the contemporary ones such as London Grammar they're all so good. La classe as the French would say. And most importantly they're songs that allow the contestants to show emotion and sensitivity. Mika is doing such an excellent work over there! They couldnt have asked for a better coach really!! So much looking forward to watching the next episodes, especially this Saturday with the performance of Underwater! (Btw don't know if it's been posted here but I read on twitter that Mika will be singing Underwater during Voice la suite on 15 March) PS, they're such a super cool team with Kylie, absolutely love seeing the vids of them working together!!

Love this!! It's quite difficult to find rhyming words. The only ones I found rather easily were for Nikos (because it's a greek name and made me think of lots of greek words) and Jenifer. The video with Mika and Kylie coaching the girls was great as well! Cant wait to watch tonight's episode:thumb_yello:

I really liked your idea of comparing ads with toys. It's true these two ads are really cool and fun! There's absolutely nothing wrong or embarrassing about them. On the contrary they are gracefully done and they're great to watch. I'm certain too that he hasn't changed. It is very obvious that he is an amazingly kind, honest, good person who cares so much about music. I truly believe he should be really proud of his work and choices!

Loved reading all the info about the new album in those recent interviews! It's really exciting that there will be more songs in French! It's not that the language in which the song is written makes a huge difference since all of Mika's songs have incredible melodies, deep lyrics and are full of emotions but the French ones have that special something that I find really touching. For example Un Soleil Mal Luné, it's super sensitive, super beautiful:wub2: Cant wait to hear more about the new album and songs!!

Watched the show on Saturday and I absolutely loved it!! Mika did an excellent job! He really is a brilliant coach, always honest, kind, serious about music and with a sense of humour as well. For example loved the "je n'ecoute qu'Aqua" comment, made me laugh. Hearing Bohemian Rhapsody and Everybody's Talking was amazing too! Such beautiful performances:wub2: My favorite of the contestants so far is Marina, liked her performance very much. Very glad she's on Mika's team. Cant wait to watch the next episodes of the show!!!

First of all the Bohemian Rhapsody cover was stunning!!! All the judges did a great job and what can I say about Mika, his performance was absolutely brilliant:wub2: Lovely interview on RTL too!! It was heartwarming to hear him talk about the piano lessons and all the things he's already accomplished. So happy for him!! What he said about wanting to do tv without changing really makes me smile!! Always believed that. Besides this is something he has already proved with Xfactor and I'm sure it'll be the same with the Voice. Also loved how he confirmed once again that the new album will be ready this year! This is really exciting!!!

That is so exciting to read! I really like this mention of reflection and joy. The combination of deep lyrics and melodic music is so powerful and amazing indeed!! Cant wait to hear more about the new album!! Really excited about this new year (The Voice, new songs and album etc)!!! Totally get what he's saying here. I know how it is to be at a place (and I dont necessarily mean a country) that makes you feel like you dont belong and that you're the stranger or the weird one. I'm so glad there are places like France where they accept and understand him while they really get and adore his work. He definitely deserves that.

Absolutely love this article!! First of all it shows the creative process which is something truly fascinating! I find it so exciting to read about how the watches were designed and I absolutely appreciate the story of the boys discovering the totem. Wish we could see in detail all those illustrations about that story! It's also wonderful to read about how much he cares about having creative freedom and an end result with a quality and beautiful product. And yes without a doubt the end result of his projects like this one with swatch is always special and proves exactly that:wub2: Totally agree with what he said about everyday objects who look normal but make you feel different. Designs like P.Starck's toothbrush add a little magic touch to a boring every day object that would have otherwise been overlooked. I mean a toothbrush that reminds you of a quill, how cool it that! And oh yes those Japanese stationary shops are quite amazing. It's been a while now that I've been a bit obsessed with their washi tape designs! Such a beautiful article/interview! It's brilliant reading all these interviews etc about The Voice! It's really exciting, cant wait to hear more about it!! Really enjoyed reading this interview! These are my favorite quotes: "Elle me donne une certaine liberté car je fais uniquement ce que j’aime. Je ne veux ni être contrôlé, ni mentir, et je dois pouvoir rester moi-même" Really appreciate this quote. Never had a doubt in my mind that he'd stay himself and it makes me smile to read that in an interview. "Une voix tech-niquement parfaite représente l’hiver pour moi car elle ne me procure aucune émotion" Totally agree with that and I really like the comparison with the winter. Indeed even if someone's singing is technically perfect when it doesnt communicate any feelings the result is cold and empty. The most important thing is to be able to feel the emotion of the song when you hear people sing.

Je ne vais pas changer" Always believed that and I also think that it's very obvious to everyone who has followed the Italian adventure that he did everything his way without changing who he is at all.

What an inspiring speech! How I wish I could have been there to hear it live. Reading this I can not help but admire even more Mika's honesty and most of all his hard work and continuing effort to create and share his music with the world. This lecture confirms what I've always believed about how much he cares about his music and art. Not that we needed any confirmation of some sort anyway, it's always been pretty obvious how important music is to him. And one little comment that I'd like to add about about the side projects is how it's very clear that they've all been done with creativity and self respect with the end result being pretty amazing and of incredibly high quality. For example the swatch collaboration, those designs are true works of art! This lecture has been so beautiful! It makes me think how he should really be proud of his work and choices! He truly deserves all the success and support in the world!!

There's no doubt that a lecture by such an amazing artist must be truly fascinating!! The Bocconi students are pretty lucky! It really is a great and wonderful surprise that something like this happened! So interested to hear what he told them, hope they share videos of the lecture very soon:thumb_yello:

Watched the trailer and it seems like a very interesting film. Certainly the type of movie that I'd like to watch. And what can I say about Lucio, cant wait to see him on the big screen!! Judging by the Popular video he really is a good actor!
