    Hello

Hey girl! I'm sure you'll have the best time here. Welcome and have fun!
  2. I don't like Spanglish in general, so... Sounds as if they can't rhyme and therefore use a word in another language.
  3. Good tea = good mood Things are fine. Gotta work, but as you see, I'm fooling around. How are you? Enjoying your time?
  4. Red beet and onion salad. They are very good, really.
  5. Nice place you have here. Mmm, my fav is Earl Grey... I stopped using sugar since September (since I moved to study), but I like tea that way.
  6. Where did you watch it, I want it too! I've only seen a short video of Sasha in Lithuanian where he says that No1 isn't that bad - at least he'll get to see all the show. Love that optimism. Now wanna see others (even Sakis and "sessi bom" ).
  7. Really? Never thought so... But Norwegians and the Irish are not very close and they don't originate form same people, I think. Or maybe I don't know something...
  8. Well, Georgia had a song with a not-so-silly meaning, but you know what happened...
  9. Thank you. Ah, whatever happens, I'll still like and respect him (unless he undresses himself ) Cause you were GOD DAMN WORTH IT!!! Your language and girl's voice is hypnotising, your performance is simple and refreshing. You should be in top 5, if Europe is not insane...
  10. Ha ha ha ha, sessi bom. That looked sort of a porno... Damn, we're first... And ballads all around. On the other hand, if Europe forgets us, we can still console ourselves saying we were No1... to perform.
  11. Oh my, Lithuania made it!!!!! That is one amazing thing! Also Estonia and Norway, really really liked those songs. I just came back from my friends' room, we were 9 there and were all squeaking/screaming when we saw those three countries in the envelopes. Congratulations! P.S. The 2nd semifinal was... weird... The songs, the dancing and the outfit...
  12. I personally think Norway will win. Of course, people might vote for Spain and Sakis more. Greece, that is. But I think they are too...overused. Well, the rhythm, the dancing, the lyrics. There's something similar in every contest... Just my opinion.
  13. The director of the ESC said our video "doesn't match his vision", so they refused to show it. Instead, they made their own video and allowed us to have only one word from the original - "hope". The original had a "social message", so to say, excerpts from a film. Maybe that was the problem... Some say it's because we're going after Greece ("why do you bother, you won't be more visible than Greece"). But I don't want to get into political discussions. I'm not angry or whatever, just disappointed. Some countries were allowed to play their videos and some weren't.
  14. To me, it's very strange that they put all the strong (or at least most popular) songs in the 2nd semi-final. It's gonna be a tough fight there. By the way, I am VERY VERY PROUD of Lithuanian entry. I hope those video issues will not disturb him too much.
  15. This is the way I feel the song. Not saying it‘s an interpretation, just the impression I got. Lady Jane was special and could do more than the others. She believed in „higher“ things, maybe she was a dreamer, had a beautiful soul and ability to rise above the usual world (the river, I suppose). One day she finally found a man she loved and told him her dreams and desires, her thoughts and wishes. And so they walked through this world together. Sadly, the man wasn‘t that special, he couldn‘t believe in these things, lift himself higher then the simple, plane and usual world. So, he drew back (maybe left her because of moral/psychological pressure). LJ started thinking that she should change, not make him change. So, she sacrificed for love, got rid of her distinctive feature and emerged into the grey, into the mainstream, started searching for him. Before she was above which made her unreachable. Now, everyone starts to want her, but don’t have the power to catch her. I think they see that she is not for them, she’s looking for someone else. Then, one man gets her by force (maybe it’s a rich foreigner, who takes her with him). The conclusion is that her lover still loves her, he’s searching for her. What couth my attention is the way the plot changes from closed to an open one. River -> sea -> ocean. I think ocean might mean the whole world. It’s like living at home, then going further and further. Maybe her lover “drowned” into the sea, so she started looking there. What actually happened was that he got “flushed” into the ocean, so LJ couldn’t find him. Nor could he find her because of the enormous amount of water. Distance, that is. I didn’t say everything I had in mind, too difficult to do that… In simple words it gave me a feeling of a spirited (?) girl giving up to a cruel world for love (because the world cannot change) and being destroyed by it. It’s lack of understanding. The saddest part is that she could’ve been happy… (Sorry for the length...)
  16. Been on a meeting of king Juan Carlos I of Spain and his wife today! Didn't get to shake hands, pity...
  17. This is not the big news yet... (As far as I get it)
  18. Ech, exams... How will I study when you report those wonderful concerts? Anyway, good luck for those who will go.
  19. The site looks just amazing! Now, going to browse every corner of it...
  20. Oh my, the 2nd celebration today!!! :aah: The 3rd, actually, so cool!!! Thank you all, who did this.
