  1. Isn't it enough that he throws a free gig on the beach? I have ABSOLUTELY NOOO expectations from this show... it'd be enough for me if he'd just come out on the stage say hi and leave. You know we won't get what we got in Vienna...
  2. shush!!! let's not think about that please! Vanessa, PDP had 55.000 people in the audience. How the hell do you think 100 000 were on a tiny beach for Duffy?
  3. Hello, Robertina!

I have just created th thread for the "Lady Jane" project for the birthday present and I put there in the first post the members of the team and I need to know what will you do: write or draw? :biggrin2:

  4. Can I have a first word about this gig? I can't believe it!!! XD (I'll get over it soon I swear!) I'll post you here some maps and ways to get there! 3 months and a half left and we'll be in the front row of the greatest gig this city has ever seen!! number 1 So, let me tell you a little about the place where the gig will take place. It's in Romania, a slightly big country in the South Eastern Europe. The capital city of Romania is BUCHAREST (not Dubrovnik ) and funnily Mika is not going to perform there...but in a city on the shore of the Black sea...Constanza. (which happens to be my hometown) Mamaia is, however the most famous summer resort around here...and the most expensive. It's only few miles away from the city center. Mamaia was once known as the "Pearl of the Romanian seaside". In a way it still is. There isn't anything to see in Mamaia basically, only hotels and restaurants. They even have a Lebanese restaurant around the H2O beach area The H2O beach is at the other end of the resort. (where the big red X is on the map below) and this is what the stage looks like: This happened last year at Duffy's gig.
  5. Got the tickets today but I'm a bit worried now. Nature's gone crazy and I never thought I'd worry about a VOLCANO!
  6. so it has been a long year, huh? I've always loved rain!
  7. It really does...I remember how excited I was the next day about the new songs: BIOTG (the clapping song at that time), Blue eyes, Good gone girl and Toy boy...I used to listen to the recordings from the videos done by Nono everyday on my way to school...
  8. Oh God I can't believe ONE year has already passed! I just returned to my "Hello!" thread to say a BIG BIG BIG Thank you! to everyone who made this year special and made me feel less weird...or better said...who made me feel good for being different! There have been so many things happening over the last 12 months and if someone would've told me last year that in one year I'll be meeting Mika twice I would've: and then ! So now I'm really looking forward to the next years to come and see what they'll bring. I've found so many great friends here and I'm so grateful! You are ALL very nice people and you know, we have a saying here in Romania: "Those alike, get together!" So I guess it's normal for all the nice people to be here, on MFC! I have even found my best friend here, Ruxi, with who I'm looking forward to sharing our first Mika gig when he'll be coming here in summer! Glad to be MFCr! Bianca xx
  9. So is it over? Has it been on? Will it be the same thing as last time?
  10. I have no doubts about that! (only) 2 weeks left!
  11. I know! ...that's what I thought about too. there was a similar thing written on the back of the ticket I had for the Vienna gig...I only found out AFTER the gig, when someone bothered to translate the text to me. but noone told us off for taking pics at the gig. Good, thanks for sorting that for me, Justine!
  12. YKYAMFW you put your nerdy glasses on and you start humming Kick ass... I could rule the world, On a silver platter...
  13. Guys, I heard something...that they don't let people use their cameras in Bercy. Is it true?
  14. damn...I missed it! waiting for someone to post the recording.
  15. OMG! That was one of the rudest things I've ever heard about people doing. He is friendly (as much as his position allows him to be...) but HEY! Not DA curlz! (actually not the anything) for the second sentence. I'm feeling weird discussing this any longer...because we're clearly NOT going to start touching Mika the next time we'll see him. We're the best fans he could ever ask for.
  16. EXACTLY! you know...one of my aims in life (everyday life) is to make as many people as possible smile. Not laugh...because I'm not a clown...but smile. So, you can imagine how nice it made me feel when I saw Mika giggling at the medal I've made for him. (Actually I think it was the text on that card that he laughed about but it doesn't matter...).
  17. Yes, indeed, last year in Paris he didn't feel quite Ok (he couldn't talk...exhausted perhaps) and I bet he "put n his polite act". In Vienna I had a different perspective on him: VERY chatty, happy and ...he just seemed to have enjoyed the gig and was up to meeting new fans. I really like the bolded part! and I really agree with you. Even though he lets himself quite accessible to say the least to his fans at the M&G's after the gig...is just a way to even protect himself you know. I mean...if he was this pop star who would run away through the backdoor all covered in everything, the kind that runs away from his fans...it could only "feed" the obssessiveness (is that a word? ) and gets more vulnerable. So I think that these M&G's are a really healthy decision and keeps everybody happy: Mika AND his fans. As for the touching part...I'm afraid there are people around me that I have known for years and still feel strange if I touche or get touched by them. It is a pretty personal thing and you need to have a pretty stable friendship relationship with one to touch/be touched, IMO. Mika...we know him, we're well familliar with him, he's "here" everyday...but we're not there everyday for him the way he is for me. He may have heard of us, but doesn't know us, so ..yes I agree with you. We should maintain our "well behaved fans" not groupies. (I repeat: I RESPECT all of those who had the guts to ask for a hug/kiss! ) In fact this distance is even a proof of politeness. You know, I really enjoyed his genuine and unexpected laughter he left out when I gave him the medal. I wouldn't trade that for a hug in a million years. A hug is a hug...the genuine laughter is the genuine laughter. And yes, Caz, that DOES make sense...if he feels like touching us (shoulder, hand, whatever) it's ok. as for my Jimmy moment...I can't remember who had the initiative of shaking hands...I just remember I shook hands with him (damn...it was only 2 weeks ago how could I forget...*) and he made a pause expecting me to say my name. That was cute. *actually if it wasn't for my video I would've forgotten right away that I said "HI! and "how are you to Mika "
  18. yeah...that will suck. (I'm already getting used to them...3 more coming up this year. ) but then again...I expect the next year to be free for him aswell...this one is clearly overcrowded with gigs...he REALLY needs a HUGE break. Oh...I am coming in London for UNI...so...that will do for the gig-free year.
  19. if I win this year, I have to take mum...I'm underage. But I promise I will tell Mika that you were my number one supporters in the comp. If I win something next year... I'll send you both on my behalf because I won't be able to go anywhere... (final high school year)
  20. Thanks for the add.! :biggrin2:
