Two Christmases ago my brother and I gave our cousin (who's in her 40s) a copy of 'LICM' as a present and she rang a few days after Christmas to say thanks and said the album was so good that when she was listening to it in her car on the way to work she wanted to dance. I was glad to hear she loved it but told her it was better to keep her hands on the steering wheel so she didn't crash! -
Two of my brother's friends who came with us last night were girls and called it a 'definite boys film'. I normally like sci-fi things but this was just plain boring.

Went to see 'District 9' last night with my brother and 3 of his friends and thought it was AWFUL! The acting was terrible as were the action scenes. It has now replaced 'Transformers 2' as the worst film I've seen this year.

I absolutely love the new album and think it's much better than LICM. In regards to chart positioning in the UK the only true competition there will be this week is against Madonna and her new greatest hits compilation. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

It's true that he does a lot of concerts in Germany but I wish he would come back to Ireland or maybe even the UK. Seeing him live is an AMAZING experience. I have never seen anything quite like what I witnessed back in June. I discovered him in 2007 when I first saw the video for 'Grace Kelly'. I absolutely loved it as it was a lot of fun and so different to anything else in the charts. My brother downloaded the album and I played it one afternoon and as soon as it was over, I played it again! :-)
I hope he comes back to Dublin soon as I'm dying to see him in concert.

The album is at #18 at the moment on 7digital.com On Amazon.co.uk it's at #4 in the 'Pop Rock' category, #10 in 'Indie' and #20 in 'Rock'. I say these figures will all change once the album is released physically.

That's cool about Pixie Lott being in the LT video but I'm not too keen on her album. There doesn't really seem to be much variety on it. The new Muse album is miles in the lead for the UK #1 spot on Sunday but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Mika will be #1 next week.
