    Hi there Kodes100!

    I just posted a link on the forum - it's another little video I made (I'm the one who made the BIOTG/Nicholas Brothers video). This one's to DR JOHN (I LOVE THAT SONG!) that I combined with scenes from Adam Elliot's MARY AND MAX (I LOVE THAT FILM!). I thought you might really like that film too - I hope you see it if you haven't seen it already!!! I think Adam is huuuuugely talented!!! I also love his short films - tonight I realized that many if not all of them are available on YouTube... It was a joy to combine two of my favorite talents and play with their words, images and music...

    LOVE LOVE LOVE Mika's new Kick Ass (We Are Young) video!!! Of all the entertainers and creative talents out there today, I find Mika the most truly fascinating by far!!! I'm always looking forward to seeing what he's going to do next!

    Thanks for the details Sariflor!!!! The end result of your handiwork and Mika's vision was truly magical. I was blown away at the Boston concert when the curtains first opened after the couch/tv intro to reveal the set with those planets hanging down... While I absolutely LOVED the Parc des Princes concert (dvd) I LOVED the 'Making Of' the concert piece even MORE if that's at all possible. I have massive love and respect for Mika (and his family's) creativity, and loved watching Mika painstakingly create and refine every aspect of the concert. I also LOVE (as I also saw in that piece) that he COOKS too!!!!!! A joy to see that Mika also respects his fans enough to go the extra distance and create concerts that are also VISUALLY delicious as well... I'm happy for all you who were there painting with Mika et al in Toronto - what a gift (on so many levels!) that you got to be a part of that!!!!!! [/img]

    I loved reading the interview/article that Deb posted, and this entire thread... The thought of all you lucky ones painting the set (which I thought was BEYOND WONDERFUL when I saw it at the concert in Boston) together with Mika is the best of the best!!! Oooooh, how I would have LOVED to have been there with you...

    Wow - I just read (and saw in a 'Happy Ending' performance video) that his sister Zuleika really DOES sing... She has a beautiful voice!!! Do his other siblings sing too?!!!

    These photos are wonderful! Thanks so much for posting them! Ooooh... I'd love to see Mika make an early 70's style campy video of one of his deliciously happy trippy pop songs - with his brother and sisters in there too - all 'singing' together like David Cassidy & the Partridge Family... or the DeFranco family... the singing Brady Bunch kids... big bright colors... Yasmine designing the sets...etc etc! Tony DeFranco & DeFranco Family Tony DeFranco & DeFranco Family Brady Kids Partridge Family All those Penniman siblings are beyond adorable and charismatic!

    A joy to read a review by someone who really gets it! Thanks for posting... The following line from a review I came upon (of The Boy Who Knew Too Much) really hits on how I feel about Mika: "I love to see an artist of Mika’s brilliance grow-up right in front of me. The thought of what the next decade will musically offer with this man (though he still refers to himself as a boy) is the single most exciting consideration for me as a music fan in about 15 years.
